Welcome to Casa de Sol y Luna at El Cantil—the perfect blend of convenience and privacy, overlooking the stunning blue waters of the Caribbean! The 1st floor location provides the convenience of being only steps from beach, multi-tiered infinity pool (heated!) and dive dock. The adjacent lush, tropical gardens, elevated terrace, and location (not directly poolside), insures your privacy. The condo features 2 large master suites, each with king bed, private bath, walk-in closet, ocean views, and its own sliding glass door entry to the 45' private terrace with steps directly to the beach, pool and dive dock. This 'home away from home' is beautifully appointed with artwork collected by the owners from their travels. Enjoy the sunsets, changing colors of the sea, and boat traffic while relaxing on the terrace, in the living room, eating in the dining area or preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen. All overlook the ocean!

El Cantil Condominums is perfectly located! A 1/2 mile south of the Plaza and Ferry dock, it's a short walk to grocery stores, shopping and restaurants, or an inexpensive taxi ride to destinations outside the main tourist area. If flying into Cozumel, you will need to purchase a voucher at the airport for transportation to El Cantil (due to taxi and collectivo union restrictions, transportation must be provided by airport transfer services). When you arrive at El Cantil the doorman will assist you with your luggage to your unit. As soon as possible after your arrival, a staff member of Caribbean Beach Properties will stop by to make sure you have arrived and will answer any questions you might have. They will also periodically check in on you. There are 24-hour doormen for your assistance and security. All questions about what to do, where to go, renting vehicles, etc. can be answered by our management staff. If you would like a meal service, the office can arrange a meal plan for your stay with a local chef.
If desired, please let us know and we'll provide a list of recommended restaurants. If you are divers and would like dive shop recommendations, we would be glad to send you contact information.

All that it says it is. Great place!
All that it says it is. Great place! We definitely would stay here again. Very roomy, well-equipped and easy access to the street and the beach/pool area. Conveniently located. Everything within walking distance that you need. We were able to explore restaurants that we never had time to on one day cruise stops. We’ll equip kitchen. Dave and Marcie supply excellent suggestions for dining and other activities, too.
Beautiful condo with a gorgeous view
The condo is absolutely beautiful with very comfy beds and well stocked kitchen, so nice to have the dock for dive pick ups and terrific access to grocery store and downtown. The only downside there is no sun in the mornings due to the high rise building and the jacuzzi wasn't working while we were there.
Fantastic condo on the sea!
This condo was fab! Good snorkeling right off the shore, even saw a squid! Convenient to grocery, restaurants but best because it was elevated from the ground with shrubbery blocking for privacy. The people that took care of us were so gracious! Restaurants were great in the area. Sunsets to end the day. No Long Beach to walk on but we knew that and went for snorkeling off the deck. Dave and Marcie were most gracious and the condo was equipped with all you could need!! Want to return before too long!
Wonderful Week in Cozumel
We had a great week in Cozumel traveling with my wife's parents. The condo was beautiful with two large master bedrooms, both with sliders to the spacious patio. The location in the building was perfect with steps from the patio down to the beach front. El Cantil's two building are very well maintained with friendly staff in abundance. We are looking forward to our next trip to Cozumel and hope we can get this same condo.
Nice Condo, Great Location
Stayed here with my family of four in April 2017. We have two boys (aged 14 and 16).
The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we wanted for a relaxing vacation. Probably the best aspect of the condo is the convenient location. You can easily walk to grocery stores and good restaurants. The yellow shirted property managers / security were helpful and present. We felt safe. The beds were comfortable and we slept well.
A big thanks to Marcie and David for sharing their condo. This was an excellent VRBO experience.
Excellent layout and location.
The property description and pictures are accurate. Grocery stores are across the street and easy access to restaurants, dive outfits pick you up at the dock on the property. I was a little concerned about street noise initially but the layout of the condo is such that you cannot hear any traffic at night. It is a beautiful condo and is decorated and stocked with all the right stuff. (some of the knives need to be sharpened) Being on the street level is a real plus here as street level condos have their own access directly to the pool/ocean from the balcony. This part of Cozumel has mostly rock along the shore but the dock has a ladder you can climb into/out of the water. The property has sandy areas with chairs/umbrellas but not an actual sand beach in case you require that. (the rocks make for very interesting snorkeling in 5-15 foot of water with lots of sea life) The owner was available and helpful and the property manager "Alex" spoke great english and was very helpful multiple times. He called to make sure we got settled in and made sure we knew how to contact him on his cell phone. The condo has two landlines, one phone is a U.S. based phone and the other is a Cozumel phone in case you are concerned about cellular billing problems. There is a lot of information for guests in a ring binder provided at the condo such as snorkel locations, restaurants, maps etc. The layout with 2 masters was great for our family of 4. My wife says this is her favorite condo out of the many we have rented over the years. If we return to Cozumel, we will definitely stay here again. If you rent here, take their advice on restaurants, we did and we were not disappointed. Le Chef, Kondessa, Blue Angel---all good.
Cozumel is located just east of the Yucatan penisula and offers world-class scuba diving, endless white sand beaches and fabulous restaurants and entertainment. With only a 35-minute ferry ride to the mainland, you can visit the incredible Mayan ruins of Tulum, take a bus to Chichen Itza, or simply visit the beautiful seaside town of Playa del Carmen.

Low Season: 5/16-12/15 $1595 /week High Season: 12/16-5/15 $1850/week Xmas & New Years week: $2800/week Thanksgiving Week: $1850/week If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation 120 days or more prior to arrival, we will refund your complete deposit less a $200 cancellation fee. If you need to cancel less then 120 days prior to arrival, you will still be able to receive a full refund providing we are able to re-rent the unit for that time period.
