We loved our time in this cottage! The delightful cottage has everything necessary to enjoy a visit to Charleston. We were met by Bradley who took the time to show us how the TVs and air conditioning worked. He also pointed us toward some great restaurants. The cottage's kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable with nice linens and plenty of blankets and towels. Bathrooms were modern. The property is decorated beautifully as well. We enjoyed walking the streets, marveling at the architecture and gardens. We hope to return next year and will look forward to staying in the cottage again.
Great location in Charleston on a quiet side street and walking distance to everything. Plenty of room for a family of four (with 2 teens). Kitchen was well-stocked to eat in but you are also in walking distance to hundreds of great restaurants. Nice sleek coffee shop is right around the corner. Easy check-in process as the property manager (Bradley) was accessible before check-in and met us on-site to get us acclimated to the house and the area. Updates from the pictures posted online include a flat screen TV in the master bedroom and a dining table for 4 in the kitchen. The driveway is very small as mentioned in the description. We have a mid-size SUV and it was a really tight fit, although not much of a problem as you don't need a car when you stay here. Just park it and leave it.
This was our second visit to this wonderful home in the historic district. We had a great time trying new restaurants, taking a walking tour, seeing the Hunley, and just relaxing with family. The house has everything we need and the beds are super comfortable. We were able to eat at home when we wanted and had plenty of room to watch football. We were able to walk everywhere except when we went to the Hunley. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to be in the historic area in a comfy house.
Our family had a wonderful time in Charleston and staying at Claudia's cottage helped make it that way! The cottage is very cozy and comfortable as described! Also, it is situated in a quaint quiet neighborhood and the perfect walking distance to many historic land marks in downtown Charleston, as well as shopping and restaurants! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Cute carriage house tucked in to very central street. Very close to King St. shopping, free trolley and many restaurants in walking distance. Kitchen is well-equipped and decor is tasteful and the house was very clean! This little house has all you need including chairs and a cooler for a day at the beach! The owner was very friendly and responsive. She also was very accommodating to make adjustments if we had needed due to being delayed by Delta. I would definitely recommend this house to a friend.

Abandoned for many years, it was completely rebuilt in 2007 and retains the original foundation, traditional tin roof and hardwood floors. Modern and yet true to the original architectural style of the era, this comfortable cottage offers all conveniences and amenities.
