Escape to a beautiful, picturesque log cabin in Glen Haven, Colorado. This private cabin is located one-quarter mile from the main road and is the ideal get-a-way retreat for a cozy, relaxing get-a-way vacation for a couple or small family. The cabin is on the North Fork of the Big Thompson River just 15 minutes from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
Glen Haven is surrounded by Roosevelt National Forest (designated wilderness area). This is a great spot to stage your hiking, photography, horseback riding, wildlife viewing, biking, or other outdoor activities within the great Rocky Mountains, or just relax. This cozy cabin is one bedroom, one bath with fireplace and a perfect getaway. (Please, no smoking or pets. We love our pets and have several ourselves, but there are others who have allergies to pets).
In the town of Glen Haven, is a gourmet Restaurant 'The Inn of Glen Haven' and a small community store that has delicious cinnamon rolls in the summer.

Your hosts Ken and Marsha Hobert will meet you and show you to their wonderful hideaway.
We have lived in Glen Haven since 1981 and wouldn't live anywhere else. Glen Haven is a small, private community, outside of Estes Park.It is so beautiful and peaceful with the sound of the river at our doorstep. There are easy trails into the forest following the sound of the river along the way.
Marsha & Ken Hobert purchased this cabin in 2003
We fell in love with the log cabin and bought it within a few hours of it being put on the market. Having a home up the road, we wanted to have another place to rent out when family and friends were not visiting.
The best thing about the Glen is the sound of the river and the wonderful, private community. We look forward to personally showing you to the cabin for your relaxing visit.
After the chaos and stress of trying to plan a wedding, this was the perfect place for our honeymoon! The sights and sounds were phenominal! We saw big horn by the Alluvial Fan, elk everywhere, moose on the Grand Lake side of Trail Ridge Rd., a bobcat, fox, and a bear on our way home last night! Big footprint on the deck our 2nd day here. Also another "cat like" animal on our hike out back! Your hospitality and the fresh flowers were anything by ordinary! Sad to leave but will return sometime. -- June 7-14, 2009
Wonderful property! Cabin has everything you need. The sound of the stream was so relaxing. Would love to come again and stay longer.
We had a great stay. Pleasant view from the breakfast table. It was well stocked with staples. We had our evening meals at the cabin after hiking most of the day. The drive into Estes Park or into the national park was easy. Ken and Marsha are very personable hosts.
The cabin in Glen Haven was perfect. The drive to and from RMNP was beautiful. We enjoyed opening the windows at night and listening to the sound of the river below. We enjoyed our stay and cant wait to return. Thanks to Ken and Marsha for sharing your cabin with us. Mike and Lissette
Marsha and Ken's cabin was the perfect getaway for our family. We stayed for a week and two of our adult daughters were able to spend a few of those days with us. The cabin was so cozy and filled with reminders of days gone by...They had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. After days of hiking and exploring in Rocky Mountain Park, and shopping in Estes, we so looked forward to ending our day in our quiet cozy little cabin away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for such a fantastic vacation!
My two friends and I drove down from Canada to stay in this little hideaway. The cabin was a perfect size for three of us. Everything we needed was provided! Ken and Marsha were great hosts and made us feel right at home; we appreciated their warm hospitality. It's a short drive from the cabin to Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park. It was peaceful to come home to a cozy cabin after long days of exploring. Sitting on the deck, listening to the river and enjoying the night sky was one of our favourite evening activities. It's a great location - we had an excellent stay!
We spent 4 days here with two of our grandsons and loved how we felt the peace of the mountains and stream, but we're just minutes from Estes Park and all it has to offer.
This cabin is located in Glen Haven, a peaceful, quiet community only 7.5 from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
