private secluded sanctuary. close enough to town to be convenient, far enough away not to mind the drive.
watching the sunrise while walking the beach. sunsets from the back deck. Enjoy the natural surroundings!
We have stayed here for several years. The owner and manager are great to work with. They keep the house clean and well maintained. The view outside is great with the trees and deer. The house is about a block or two from Lake Michigan. It is s great walk. Doug and Jill
House was very comfortable and worked out perfectly for our needs. Location is very mice and quiet...much nicer than the photos indicate. The owner was very accommodating as well. We would definitely stay here again.
the owner of this cabin thought of everything as far as eating utensils was available for our use. we enjoyed how nice it was to have family and friends come over for a visit. a big step above a hotel.close to everything in the area I cannot stress how clean and quiet the cabin was. thank you for sharing.we will definitely rent again.
Our experience at this cabin was excellent! It had everything we needed and was well kept up. It is just a short walk to the lake, hiking trails and less than a block to a nice park for the kids. The kids loved the deer that visited the back yard every day! We stayed at the house for 2 months because we were new to the area. Everything worked out great! I would recommend the cabin to anyone who needs a place!
This is the second time we've rented this place we liked it so much. If you're looking for a five star fancy hotel with all the amenities this is not the place. This house is quaint, comfortable, has everything you need, (except for perishable food), deer in the yard and within walking distance to Lake Michigan and the local supper club (good food). The Sheboygan riverfront and grocery stores are just minutes away by car (very convenient).
My only problem was the cleaning fee. This last time we only stayed for three days and were charged the same cleaning fee as we would have paid if we stayed for a month.
I suggest pro-rating this fee, nevertheless, I would highly recommend this place for your getaway.
We have used VRBO happily for years. We were under the impression we would be out in nature, but in fact felt like we had arrived in the suburbs. It was in a developed neighborhood with houses all around. The walk to the lake was not bad, but certainly not so close as to hear waves lapping out the window, more like 5-600 yards. The patio furniture was adequate but pretty dirty. The place was not the cleanest (hair on the shower drain) and yet for a 2 night stay we were asked to pay a pretty steep cleaning fee. We left the place cleaner than when we arrived, had a good time, but do not plan to return.
Just a quick walk to the beach or through the woods to Kohler-Andrea State Park. Hiking and Mountain Biking trails abound. Plenty of room for kids and adults to play in nearby park with playground equipment.
