Well stocked house in a great location!

  • 4 of 5

The house had plenty of space and the kitchen was well equipped. Loved the walk to the beach. A real plus. The only thing that would keep us from staying again is the very musty smell. It was overwhelming. We had to open air fresheners and windows to try to fix it. Also the family pictures on the wall were a little odd. Even the kids thought it was weird. Just a small thing that makes you feel a little awkward. Overall it was a positive stay. Just a few things that need attention.

Lovely and Peaceful

  • 5 of 5

The house was lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed. The area was peaceful and the beach/lake was a short walk from the house. I highly recommend it!

Great house in a quiet neighborhood just a couple of blocks from Lake Michigan.

  • 5 of 5

This was a great vacation place for us! Quiet neighborhood, yet close to all the things we were looking to do in Sheboygan. General King Park, Bookworm Gardens, and a surprising number of good restaurants were all just a short drive away. The house itself was spacious enough for our family of four plus our dog; the kids played quite a few games of croquet out in the yard over the week. If we ever get back to the area, we'll be looking into to renting this place again.

Not what I expected.

  • 2 of 5

Upon arrival the house smelled like no one had been there for a year, musty moldy smell. I think we finally got it aired out. So many steps I'm a bit handicapped so hey we're difficult. Not a place for older persons with bad knees. Laundry in basement again steps and musty. Scenery beautiful all the wild life enjoyed. So sorry to say we will not be back.

Owner's Response: Charles, So very sorry our home didn't meet and exceed your expectations! It's tricky to balance securing a vacation rental home and keeping everything open, airy, and fresh for the arrival of our guests. We take all of our guest's feedback very seriously and will work on creating a more pleasing aromatic first impression. Glad you enjoyed the scenery and hope you enjoyed the other aspects of your vacation. All the best on your future travels!

Clean, homey, comfortable vacation rental.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for one week. The home and property are well maintained. The kitchen had everything one could need; very well stocked. The biggest joy was the short walk to Lake Michigan and the outdoor deck. It was a warm October, and our daily trek to the Great Lake was amazing. We would stay here again!

Excellent location, furnishings, and equipment.

Cabin in the woods. Very clean, safe neighborhood, great fun for the grandchildren. Very good value.

Only minor problem is the washing machine leaked.

Would rent again.
