Yellowstone Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)

The Yellowstone Vista Cabin is located 6 miles west of West Yellowstone, Montana and 9 miles north of Henry’s Lake in Island Park, Idaho.

West Yellowstone, Montana rests on the border of Yellowstone National Park and the Targhee & Gallatin National Forests, nestled in a valley of the Rocky Mountains. We are centrally located for vacationing in Yellowstone National Park, fishing the rivers and lakes, hiking the numerous trails, and photographing the wild flora and fauna.

Have you dreamed of getting away from it all, but still crave the luxuries of home? Then this place is for you. The Cabin is approximately 1400 square feet in size, and comes fully furnished. Enjoy the quiet while relaxing by the fire, watch TV, gaze out the windows at the scenic mountain views, enjoy a refreshing beverage at the bar, relax and watch the sun set while grilling dinner on the back patio, or throw your line in the creek out back.

The Cabin comfortably sleeps 7 people. The master bedroom has a large King size bed, 2 dressers, ample closet space, and a private bath with tub/shower. The 2nd bedroom has a twin & full size bed. A futon, couch & chairs are located in the great room, perfect for lounging while reading that great American novel. There is a desk, shelves of books and assorted games, additional closet space, and a newly remodeled guest bathroom with shower.

Our kitchen has all of the amenities of home. It comes fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, microwave, full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and of course a stove/oven for your convenience. There is a breakfast bar area with stools, and a formal dining area. If you like cooking in the great outdoors, a BBQ is located on the patio.

We provide towels for the kitchen and bath, as well as linens for the beds, and a washer and dryer are located in the master bath.

Are you bringing your boat or ATV’s for exploring the lakes or mountain trails? There is no need to worry we have a parking area large enough to accommodate your trailers.

Wonderful cabin in lovely location

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 (including 3 grown-up 'children') stayed for a week at the cabin whilst we explored Yellowstone. It was a great location, just 7 miles outside West Yellowstone, 10 mins or so from the park's west entrance, but the location of the cabin, whilst so convenient for the park, is in a peaceful position with lovely views and surroundings. The cabin is roomy, comfortable, clean and has everything you need, with two showers, washing & drying facilities and a well fitted out kitchen. We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin and have no hesitation in recommending the cabin. We would definitely stay there if we were lucky enough to come back to Yellowstone. Lesley was helpful and patient with all our enquiries. The booking and payment was very straightforward. We just wish we had stayed longer! Thanks for helping us to have a great holiday.

No Place Like Home

  • 5 of 5

We were extremely lucky to find Vista cabin for our little family reunion/vacation!! While our family of 4.5 stayed here, the other members of the family stayed up the road from us. It was so awesome to gather together at "our house" and have a barbeque and visit. The house was amply stocked with dishes, sheets, towels, pillows, you name it, it was there. The patio area is a phenomenal place to sit and sip your morning coffee and watch the sun come up or gather at the picnic table to "shoot the breeze". The cabin is well kept, spacious and just the right distance from town to offer a peaceful place. The sight and sound of the creek close by was true ambiance to my soul. Thank you Vista Cabin. Will definitely be back again someday.

Cabin Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The home was excellent. Clean, plenty of space and great views of the adjacent farm (animals included) and mountains. You had everything you need for the stay with lot's of extra's, paper towels, tissues, laundry detergent, fruit and some goodies.

Just a short 10-12 minute drive to the park entrance.

Great Cabin for Yellowstone Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This was the nicest vrbo/homeaway cabin that we have stayed in so far. It was also the most expensive, but it was worth it! If you take into consideration the price of very basic accommodations inside Yellowstone National Park, this cabin is really a bargain for what you get. As a couple using this cabin, it was more spacious than we actually needed. It would be ideal for a family. The cabin has a huge living room area with huge windows overlooking the prairie grasses, the cows in the distance, and the mountains beyond. We so enjoyed coming back to this tranquil setting after being around so many people in Yellowstone. We often ate our dinner on the picnic table on the back patio - couldn't ask for a better view! Even though there is one neighbor close by, they were quiet, and their house is not in view if you are at the back of the cabin. This cabin is exceptionally clean and so well stocked with towels, extra sheets, a washer & dryer with unscented detergent provided, lots of books and games, good wi-fi, and good cell phone reception with our Verizon provider. The west entrance to Yellowstone is only a 10-15 minute drive away. Being morning people, we were out the door every morning by 6:30, returning back to the cabin by 4-5 each afternoon. By going into the park early, there were no crowds at the gate and by returning early we were less likely to experience traffic and bison jams on our way out of the park. Every morning on our way into the park, and every day on our way out of the park, we would look for the elk that frequented the area between the Madison River Bridge and the Madison Campground. We got some great photos of elk! During our week at Vista Cabin we saw so much of Yellowstone National Park. If we ever return, we will definitely stay at Vista Cabin with its comfy King sized bed. We highly recommend this cabin for your Yellowstone vacation!

Vista Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Really nice, clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of surrounding ranch land and very convenient to West Yellowstone and the park. The layout is such that you go through one bedroom to reach the master bedroom. Not a problem for us. Overall we loved it.

Excellent Base for Yellowstone Activities

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 really enjoyed the Vista Cabin. It was very roomy and comfortable. It was also close to the West Yellowstone Park entrance. We also enjoyed the rodeo down the road and across the street. The KOA nearby was a good place to stop in and grab a quick item like milk or eggs. Otherwise we were 15 minutes from West Yellowstone and the grocery store. The washer and dryer was a great feature since we stayed 5 nights and had another 6 to go on our overall trip down to the Grand Canyon. It was also clean which was important to us. We highly recommend this cabin!
