ROME ITALY PERFECT SABINI SISTINA APARTMENT

Concierge, driver and tour services.

Location

The Sabini Sistina apartment is located on one of Rome's most desirable historic areas, very near the Spanish Steps on a street famous for its old world charm, elegance and proximity to the sites. On the street and around the corner are some of Rome's most elegant and expensive boutique hotels. The Sabini Sistina apartment is a bargain by comparison.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sabini and strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants spacious, comfortable, clean and convenient place to stay in Rome. Service was excellent and we had no problems at all during our stay. The location is fantastic with major attractions is walking distance, along with abundant restaurants, gelato shops and stores."

Interior

Sleek clean lines and complete amenities make this a comfortable and organized apartment. It offers desirable features that include a king sized bed, a terrace, air conditioning and a dryer.

"From the time you close the main door below, and the time you stepped inside Sabini Apartment ( one floor up)you feel secured and assured of a quiet and restful retreat. The apartment is well appointed. "

Off the apartment entry foyer is an attractive and well-lit hallway that houses the kitchen with bedrooms and bathrooms off the opposite side.. Proceed through into the sleek modern kitchen fitted within the corridorThe open plan kitchen leads to the living room, a good layout so families and friends can enjoy socializing between the living/dining area and the kitchen, which are all connected.

A sunny living room/dining room has two windows that overlook the street below, the windows are large and fill the room with light. Italian-chic modern L-shaped sofa, a matching armchair and modern lamp make up the living room area which also features a flat-screen TV. The sofa converts to a double bed. Everything is well organized and carefully thought out for guests' comfort, with minimal clutter and distractions.

"The family room was great to unwind after a busy day and we enjoyed shopping and cooking meals."

The dining area is bright with a handsome table that seats 6. The same modern, monochromatic tone is carried through in this area, accented with a fine, beautifully framed antique painting on the wall. Italians have such a flair for mixing modern with traditional.

The electronics here are complete with a large television with Satellite reception, iPod/iPhone dock, PS3 game console with some games, wifi as well as direct cable internet and a wifi printer.

A thoughtful set of Rome guidebooks has been provided for use by guests.

The kitchen is a model of precise planning and quality finishes. The shimmer of stainless steel countertops, neatly organized glassware and dishes are reflected in the wall-to-wall mirror on the opposite wall. It's a clever use of the corridor that leads to the living room. The uncluttered harmony seen in the living room is carried through in a pleasing way here too. The kitchen has a 4-burner induction stove top, convection oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, drip and Italian coffee pots.

Backtracking down the corridor is the master bedroom, with ample closet space and a window out to the attractive terrace. The bedroom has a king size bed, another rarity in Italian vacation rental properties.

There is a split bathroom off the corridor, just before the terrace. On one side is an enclosed shower and sink. On the other side is a toilet, bidet and sink.

An important feature is that the bedrooms are positioned in the middle of the apartment, each with a window that opens to the terrace. Because they are not near the street, they offer a tranquility not possible with street-facing views.

In the middle of the apartment is the very pleasant, shady terrace with a table and 3 chairs, a quiet retreat for sipping your morning espresso or enjoying a glass of wine at night.

The second bedroom is also off the corridor leading back towards the entry foyer. It has cute child-friendly decor with bunk beds and an adjoining bathroom with enclosed shower, sink and toilet.

"You should feel very comfortable renting from this company. I couldn't have had a better time in Rome. We will definitely stay at the Sabini apartment again if I am ever lucky enough to go back to Rome."

Italy Perfect guests receive complimentary and helpful documents: 1. FAQ About Renting in Italy, 2. Helpful Information About Rome, and, 3. Our much-appreciated Restaurant list. On request, complimentary children's adventure guide to Italy e-Book.

About The Owner

This apartment is offered by Italy Perfect. We are a family business with a mission! We want you to love visiting Italy as much as we do. We are sisters Lisa and Pat Byrne who lived in Italy in our youth and now travel there frequently for business and pleasure.

We offer only short term rentals that we carefully hand pick for their locations, furnishings, amenities, and that we can personally recommend and would want to stay in ourselves. We travel frequently to inspect, and usually stay in, the rentals we represent. We select vacation rentals that offer charm, good locations, cleanliness, quality furnishings and hospitable welcomes. We count the number of steps up to the property, check the size of the refrigerator, shower, listen for noise, inventory the kitchen equipment and even inspect the mattresses. This is our most important point of differentiation which sets us apart from many other vacation rental firms. Even with careful advance research and personal connections, we still choose to not represent more than 50% of the properties we visit. And, once we agree to represent a property we regularly re-inspect it to ensure our standards are being met.

Why The Owner chose Centro Storico

There is something to love in Italy for everyone. If you love art and history, Italy is marvelous. But you don't have to be crazy about art and history, nor do you have to speak Italian. Do you like fashion, shopping, cars, geology, photography, relaxation, hiking, biking...? There are riches of every sort waiting for you in Italy. And the foundation for your enjoyment of Italy is its rich culture and wonderful people. It is impossible to appreciate the Italian culture in a dispassionate manner; you will, at every turn, meet the hospitable, gentle, courteous, friendly, and happy Italian people. That is why vacation rentals are so wonderful; you get to meet people and the culture in person.

What makes this apartment unique

We want you to love your vacation, love Italy, and love the service of Italy Perfect.

Sincerely,

Pat & Lisa Byrne

Guestbook comments from the manager

The accommodations at the Sabini apartment was beyond what we expected. Rome was our first stop of many in Italy and it was great to begin at Sabini. I highly recommend Sabini Sistina to anyone who is planning a visit to Rome. I look forward to staying there again.

Great location, great apartment

  • 4 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay here. Apartment was in a good location, clean, decorated nicely, with easy to use amenities, and very helpful staff.

We have 2 teenage boys and the bunk room and bath worked great for them, while the master/separate bath was a little tight on space, but worked just fine for my wife and me. The spacious eating area and family room were great for mealtime and lounging. Overall, I would gladly stay here during our next visit to Rome.

Fantastic Location

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is a great location. Easy to walk to all major attractions. Plenty of shopping and places to eat close by. The apartment was clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything you would need. The only drawback is how tiny both showers are but everything else was great! This is my first rental through Italy Perfect (three prior rentals with Paris Perfect and one with London Perfect) and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Top Rate

  • 5 of 5

Our host was M. Gian Luca and he was very good. He was waiting for us and showed us everything there was to know about the apt. He also gave us his phone number in case we needed anything. The apt. was perfect. Clean, spacious and with everything we needed. The location was great. We were at walking distance of many interesting places and the metro was very close by. The only down side is that being Canadian with the exchange rate on our dollar it was quite expensive. Approximately 560 $ per day at Canadian value. But, since we were 4 and had plenty of room and a very good time, it was worth it. I would recommend Italy Perfect because it is well coordinated and the apt. was top rate and our host also was very good.

Sabini was perfect

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was perfect for our stay. The location is phenomenal; a 20 min or less walk to all the main attractions in Rome but still on a quieter street. The immediate area offers the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and world class shopping. There are tons of little streets with interesting restaurants and boutiques. We discovered the restaurant Dilla on nearby Via Vittoria and really enjoyed it. The apartment's interior is lovely and great for kids with black leather, white tile and stainless steel. We felt at home immediately. We used Stefano Car Service as recommended by ItalyPerfect and it was great. Our driver was waiting with a sign with our name at the airport so it was incredibly efficient. He was also able to call our greeter for us. The whole system was really efficient. I've already recommended ItalyPerfect to friends.

Wonderful area and lovely apartment!! Italy Perfect is well...perfect!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have never rented an apartment while abroad. We were a little apprehensive because we were used to all of the hotel amenities, but quite frankly spending 8 nights in a 250 sq. ft hotel room wasn't appealing. We knew we wouldn't cook, but we liked the idea of so much more space. But...Should we have been so inclined, we would have been able to use the kitchen, cook full meals and enjoy the wonderful amenities of this apartment. We did, however, love the little bistro across the street and made friends with everyone, and it became our "hotel bar". We are very happy we chose to go this route. The location is wonderful, and I can't say enough about the interaction with Pat. She was so responsive when I inquired about the rental and was very good about communication. Italy Perfect is so organized, and I would highly recommend using them even if you don't rent this specific apartment. I travel to London and Paris often and will look to them to assist me in these cities as well.

Great Rome Apartment

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It is very comfortable and well appointed. The apartment is also very spacious. If you are traveling with kids or want to pack light one of the greatest features is the full size washer and separate full size dryer! The grocery store is just a couple blocks away. There is a very good gelato place on the way! Highly recommend this apartment.
