Stepping inside of Serenity Ridge you will be amazed at the thoughtful blend of yesterday & today.

The 120 yr old Hemlock log walls, coupled with the gleaming hardwood floors, log furniture & floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace are reminiscent of historic Tennessee craftsmanship. However, Serenity Ridge has been completely renovated & professionally decorated with today's vacationer in mind. It possesses a well equipped kitchen, 2 designer bathrooms with granite vanities, 3 expansive bedrooms with private reading nooks, a game loft with pool table/air hockey table & e-darts, WiFi, & 42-in flat panel HDTV – all of which are new & impeccably maintained.

Nestled on approximately 2 acres, Serenity Ridge log cabin provides its guests with the privacy they desire while still being close to all the area attractions. Serenity Ridge possesses 5 outdoor living spaces including 2 Huge living porches, a private mater suite balcony, & a woodland gazebo covering the new, 6 person hot tub.

Inside Serenity Ridge: Entering this non-smoking log cabin, you will immediately be struck by the attention to detail. Serenity Ridge luxury log cabin has been professionally decorated & completely remodeled to blend the wonderful architecture of a true Tennessee log cabin with all the state-of-the-art amenities your family desires.

The floor to ceiling, stone, wood burning fireplace beckons you in to snuggle into one of the plush couches with one of the books from Serenity Ridge’s expansive library. Enjoy music from our wide variety of music CDs, or bring your Ipod, & listen to music on our Ipod compatible stereo system. Finally, enjoy the many other amenities, such as Game Cube, pool, air hockey & electronic darts that our gaming loft has to offer.

And that is okay because Serenity Ridge offers 5 outdoor living spaces to choose from! Rock away the hours in one of the rocking chairs on the 2 full-length, covered porches. Enjoy a sunrise breakfast on the master bedroom private balcony, or have a relaxing dinner in front of the outdoor wood burning fireplace. About Blaise and Dina Miller, Owners

We are the Miller's (from left, Blaise, Brent [9], Dina, and Bryce [12]). This picture was our first Christmas at the cabin - it was undergoing massive renovations at the time - lumber was stacked everywhere and it was truly a mess inside, but is by far our fondest memory in our cabin. In spite of all the renovation mess, we had a roaring fire, listened to old-time Christmas music on the radio, and talked and laughed. Well, the mess is long gone and our cabin is now completely renovated, modernized, and quite spectacular. We love our cabin and hope you will too!!!

Blaise and Dina Miller, Owners purchased this cabin in 2007

Why Blaise and Dina Miller, Owners chose Tennessee

Our search for a cabin crossed several states and a year and a half. We looked low and high, but could not find a place that 'wowed' us. When we found 'Serenity Ridge', there was no mistaking we had found our home in the Smokies! Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have lots to do for our boys, from hiking to Go-Karts, so we will be able to enjoy for years to come. Our cabin is in the Arts & Crafts District, which is a quaint area with lots of small family-run artisian shops - you don't even have to buy, just go in and talk with the kind folks - they are very friendly people. On a beautiful ridge in a large-lot estate community with no other rental houses anywhere in the area, the location is perfect.

What makes this cabin unique

We are located in a residential estate neighborhood. No other rental cabins, so you won't have to experience the loud partying of neighboring rental cabins like you might in rental communitites. Our cabin is in a very private setting with the closest home about 300 feet through the woods. No traffic or noise, so is a peaceful and relaxing setting.

Notes:
With regard to suitability for elderly or infirm, there are 3 steps up to the front porch of the house with railings (see pictures). There is a bathroom and two bedrooms on the first floor, so an elderly person could stay only on the first floor and would not need to go upstairs at all, since only the master bedroom, bathroom, and game loft are upstairs. Our well-stocked kitchen includes items such as a blender, mixer, crock pot, and a waffle maker. We include two extra large Duraflame logs with each rental (October 1 through April 1). Seasoned split firewood can be purchase for a fee at the cabin. Free US Domestic long-distance is included on our cabin phone.

A first class home away from home

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderul time at Serenity Ridge. The cabin was spectacular and the owners had thought of everything to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We will have fond memories of our time in the Smokies for years to come. We highly recommend Serenity Ridge as a vacation home to anyone looking for a first class home away from home vacation. Thank you to the Miller Family.

Great Family Getaway

  • 4 of 5

We had a fabulous time here. The hot tub was awesome. The kids loved the pool table. We had everything we needed to prepare meals in the home. Nice and close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I only left off 1 star because the Living room furniture was really uncomfortable. Beds were comfy though. We really loved it here.

Great location and property--Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

Very clean and all was just as described. Owners provided very detailed instructions about everything in the cabin and good directions to its location. Great communication. Special nod to Tammy, who was responsible for the exceptionally clean cabin. Beds were fairly comfy but hope the mattresses will be changed out routinely. Living room furniture very clean but not so comfy. Not a problem with us as we did not spend a lot of time in living room.. Overall, excellent experience and we look forward to coming back!! Definitely will rent again. Thank you, Blaise, Dina and Tammy!

Rustic cabin off the beaten path

  • 4 of 5

Cute cabin in the woods. Pretty comfortable place to stay. The only issue is that it could have been cleaner. There was blood on one of the pillowcases on the bed, dust everywhere, and dead bugs on the windowsill. Other than that it was nice place.

Owner's Response: I am the cabin owner and was up there last week and spent a night there as well and honestly did not see the dust issue at all. I will have my cleaner dust the cabin. I wish you would have called us about blood on the pillow case. All linens are washed between guests and if it was not light in color from washing it may have been the guest that was sleeping in that bed and they didn't notice themselves bleeding. We would have gladly come out to bring a new pillowcase. I will have my cleaner raise all the blinds and clean the sills, as it was probably bugs that fell between the window and blind and we don't raise every blind to clean the sill after every guest, sorry.
