Our three-story home is located in the Village at Waters Edge, a group of 20 private residences that are nestled along the Lake Erie shoreline. Our home is located on the south side of Waters Edge Drive and offers some great views of the Lake. The location is the best in Port Clinton. You are within two minutes walking distance to a major grocery store, two fast food outlets, a great fish place, a fabulous Italian restaurant, and the City Park. And, you are just a little farther stroll from Port Clinton's downtown, the Jet Express ferry to Put-In-Bay, and the city fishing breakwall.
Took my Son and granddaughter for Head Boat fishing 5min drive at most. Restaurants could not be much closer. I'm disabled and the Elevator was great for me. Very good atmosphere also I sleep on Memory foam bed and the Master bed was similar no back pain and garage was also great I will return and Doug could not be any nicer
We stayed only 2 nights as a weekend getaway for a family meet up. Condo was great. Very comfortable with all the kitchenware and towels one could need. Dealing with Doug was a pleasure and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo.
This is really a nice place to stay. We had no issues with our stay. The elevator was really nice as I had my elderly mother with me. The only thing is with the picture I thought my mother could sit on the balcony read and enjoy the water. But as luck would have it the weather did not cooperate anyway. It was cold and rainy. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your house.
I was born in this small town, so we look every year for a rental over Thanksgiving. We have stayed at this property at least 3 or 4 times. It's my favorite rental because of the following:
1. lots of room; third floor with its 2 bedrooms is quiet and private.
2. adequate closet and drawer space
3. exceptionally well equipped, in my opinion - lots of towels, salt, pepper, sugar in the kitchen, lots of pots and pans.
4. nice owner who responds promptly to requests
5. . ELEVATOR! my son loves it, as does my elderly mother
6. the beach is just a few steps away; within walking distance of grocery store, shops, downtown
This certainly is a great way to get away from it all. My partner and I were looking for something cozy and private, and this home was the perfect solution. We love to travel during the off-season, and Doug's home turned out to be the perfect spot for our retreat. Lots of room in this wonderful home, with plenty of supplies and amenities. It was clean, spacious, and I must admit, the in-home elevator was an extra plus, especially when it came to unloading suitcases and groceries from the car to the upper level kitchen and bedroom. We recommend this unit to anyone. Grocery stores, restaurants are just a short trip away. We also discovered that there's a great hospital less that 5 minutes away (Magruder Hospital) and the staff there was wonderful in helping my partner with her unplanned need for medical assistance. We would definitely
consider returning to this spot in our future off-season travels. Thanks, Doug!
The condo itself was everything you see in the picture. It was clean, it had everything in it that you would need as far as kitchen utensils and things of that nature. The elevator was a nice touch, it came in handy when it was time to leave, you didn't have to carry your luggage down the stairs. The condo was beautiful and in a great location. The only down side was the location, the picture leads you to believe the unit was right on the beach, and that is what we were expecting and looking forward to. The house is located across the street from the beach. We were really disappointed about that but we had a great time anyway.
Private Sandy Swim Beach, very shallow swimming area, cedar point amusement park is 10 miles from our home, Jet Express Ferry to Put-In-Bay within walking distance.
