Beautiful house, extra clean. So much bigger than I anticipated. The photos on here don't even do it justice. There are 3 sets of bunk beds in the loft area and a very large seating area off the back deck. We had a difficult time getting a taxi cab but we didn't let that discourage us from making it to the vineyards just a few miles down the road. My only complaint would be that the queen bed in the upstairs bedroom was hard as a rock, so I just moved to another bed since there were plenty to choose from. I will definitely stay here again!
I honestly can't say anything more than the other fantastic reviews which have already said it all. Simply perfect...
My wife and I enjoyed a much needed getaway (kid free) over Valentines weekend and this was the perfect place! Gayle was so very kind and helpful and Dr. Clagett was extremely nice and very hospitable. He made sure we were well taken care of and that we had everything we needed to make our time there special. The cabin was very secluded, beautiful, and immaculately clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for a great stay. There was plenty of wood for the awesome fireplace :) and every detail was covered…even down to some old newspaper to start the fire. We thoroughly enjoyed our time just relaxing by the fire, sitting in the hot tub, and actually having a complete conversation without being interrupted by the wisdom of teenagers. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone and I promise you will not be disappointed.
This is a secluded, large cabin. There was only 2 of us, with 3 dogs and 2 large dog crates. The Hot tub was clean and the property was well taken care of. Everything worked and it got a little cold during this weekend and the heater kept it nice and warm. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful cabin! This is a beautiful, quiet cabin, conveniently located to Dahlonega, GA and the surrounding wineries. Access to the AT close by for hiking. The hot tub was just wonderful after a day of hiking or relaxing after a day of wine tasting! The cabin is very large, there is a bedroom upstairs and a loft with a lot of bunk beds if you have a larger group. We only used the first floor, as this was a romantic getaway. The screened back porch was very nice at night and the dogs loved it. Very easy access from a paved road with a gravel driveway (.25 miles) to the cabin - so it has very easy access. Beautifully decorated interior, makes you feel right at home! Pet friendly and handicap accessible is a plus! Owners are extremely nice and very helpful. You won't be disappointed! A++++++ for this cabin!
Enjoyed this cabin very much. We had a mini reunion and this cabin was perfect. We spent quite a bit of time visiting, reading, cooking or just enjoying the comfort of this cabin. It really did feel like home. Gayle has been very helpful and we couldn't have asked for a nicer cabin. We would definitely come back here and recommend to others. You will not be dissappointed.
