NOT A WHOLE HOUSE.
If you are looking for a BASEMENT UNIT in a multi-family dwelling with 2 bedrooms and a third space that doesn't even have a closet that's also called a bedroom, this is for you. If you don't mind being told by the property manager that he'll do anything to help make your stay more comfortable without any real follow-through, this is for you. If you are okay with looking at pictures of an entire house but then showing up and realizing you only get 2 bedrooms, 1 purported additional bedroom without so much as air or a closet, a kitchen, and a living room for your family of 4 with two dogs, this is for you. If you are really really good at organizing (including buying hangers and closet organizer items when you realize there aren't any actual dressers or functional drawers to put your clothes in for the minimum month-long stay) and making use of every square inch of the tiny space because you packed for a whole house for more than a month, but have to cram everything everywhere, this is for you.
I will say that the backyard was the one saving grace of this rental, because we had it to ourselves (maintenance guy came and went but was courteous and tried to minimize his presence) and the owners live right upstairs and are very nice. There were items included in the rental such as soaps, shower supplies, cleaning and laundry supplies, teas, coffee K cups, etc.
I will also say that this rental is VERY MISLEADING and had I known from the description and the pictures (at least one of which shows the full house, and has no verbiage at ALL ANYWHERE that describes this as one unit in a multi-family dwelling) that this was not a whole house, I would have rented somewhere else. NOT THE WHOLE HOUSE AND VRBO WAS CONTACTED AND DID NOT HELP RESOLVE OUR ISSUE.
