Awesome stay! Great, Clean, close to everything!

My husband and our two boys (aged 8 and 10) stayed at the Margaritas II for almost two weeks in December 2016 and could not have been happier with both the accommodation and the hosts. The condo is located right beside the pool, so you can sit on your own deck while watching the kids play in the pool, or you can see them perfectly from inside the unit while preparing blender drinks! The buildings location is as good as it gets and is tucked away on a quiet street. It is steps away from many affordable local restaurants and street vendors (none of us got sick). It is across the street from a Mega grocery store so it is easy to stock your kitchen or plan to pack for daytrips and picnics. Only another block away is Walmart. A short and pleasant 5-10 minute walk puts you in the center of 5th Ave where all the action is. We loved the location. It was very close without being too close.

The home itself is very comfortable, spacious, and super clean. The giant king size bed in the master bedroom was a major factor for me and it was super comfy. Melissa (the owner) had plenty of extra pillows, sheets, bath towels and pool towels. It is very well stocked and we didn’t need anything extra. I noticed she was pretty well set up for smaller children as well. We loved having a washer machine and dryer! There were 3 TV’s and plenty of videos and we even had access to Netflix which was appreciated in the evenings after a long day of exploring. We had one small issue with one of the TV’s and Melissa’s husband Sean was on it right away and had resolved the situation in minutes. Most of the other people at Margaritas are either Canadian or American (a mixture of owners and renters). There are friendly security guards on duty 24 hours a day with locked gates and we felt extremely safe the whole time. There is also an in suite safe where we locked up our important documents during our stay (which was very much appreciated).

I also highly recommend visiting Benjamin at Lovely tours across the street. He has spent many years in New York and speaks perfect English (and he’s funny). He really took good care of us and it was nice to work with someone that we could trust and get to know, rather than the different guys in the booths on 5th Ave. We booked a tour to Xel-Ha and rented a car from him (for about ½ the price of anywhere else) We even texted him on the road to ask him how much to tip the gas jockey! We really enjoyed staying at Margaritas II!

Great rental !

We spent one week with our 2 young daughters in this flat and all of us had a great time. The flat was clean, nicely furnished, with all the amenities required.

The garden is quiet, pleasant, full of beautiful flowers, palm trees and the pool is warm. My daughters enjoyed to swim after a day out and we could easily look after them from the deck. The localization is perfect too : we walked to the beach, to the supermarket and too the famous "la quinta avenue" for dining or shopping.

Muy bonito departamento y muy bien ubicado!

Me encantó el departamento, está muy bien equipada la cocina. Me encantó que tuviera lavadora y secadora. Todo muy limpio. Tiene bastantes toallas ya sea para ir a la playa o para después de la alberca. Yo viaje con un bebé y el departamento contaba con juguetes para él y con cuna viajera. La Playa queda a muy corta distancia , al igual que la 5ta. Avenida. Definitivamente pienso volver a rentar el departamento en mis próximas vacaciones a Playa! Lo super recomiendo.

Fantastic Condo!

This condo was great for our family of 5! It was spacious and comfortable and very clean. The listing description on Home Away was very accurate. The kitchen was well stocked with the dishes, pots and pans you need to cook your meals. You can buy inexpensive bottled water from the workers at the complex. The fans and air conditioning kept us cool at night. There were extra towels and lines for us to use. We loved having the pool right outside the door. It was very convenient for the kids! The grounds were beautiful and meticulously cared for. We felt very safe with the security guards present at the front gates. They would walk around the complex grounds as well, just to make sure everything was okay. It was quiet and relaxing inside the complex and the other owners/renters were very friendly and helpful. The condo was in a very central location in Playa del Carmen. We could walk to the beach in front of Mamitas Beach Club in 10 minutes. We could be at the Fifth Avenue shops and restaurants, the Mega Supermarket and the Wallmart in 5 to 10 minutes as well. We found the Mega and Wallmart great for groceries and other items such as sunscreen, hats etc. There is a new ADO bus station within walking distance as well. The owner, Melissa, was very helpful before our trip. She took the time to answer our questions and email us important information. We had a fantastic vacation and would definitely recommend this condo to others!

wonderful location

The house is modern and spacious( almost for two nuclear family ) and with full equipment and with a fast wifi, it is on the ground floor,in front of swimming pool so my 6 years daughter jumped into always and I could take a look her inside home.

For the location I don't think that any house could be better than this! with 3 block I was on the fifth ( the house is on the 25th) and on the beach and in 100m I had a big supermarket and adeo shuttle bus station for Cancun, Airport, tulum..

About the house manager Lucy she was so good and helpful,I found most of Mexican so kind during my trip.

To move to outside of Playa (ex . tulum or akumal swimming with tutle..) we used collective taxi at the 20th paying just a few of money. If I will come back to Playa del carmen I will stay there again and I recommend this house to all especially with kids.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour au condo. Celui-ci est fonctionnel, très bien équipé, décoré avec goût et le site est bien sécurisé. La communication avec les différentes personnes affectées à la location du condo c’est effectuée de façon efficace et cordiale. Une note spéciale pour la gentillesse et efficacité à Eliohando et Joel tous deux affectés à la sécurité et entretien du site. Notre retour de dépôt c’est effectué correctement et rapidement. En résumé excellent rapport/qualité prix
