One of the very limited private single family homes for rent that are actually located within the boundaries of Four Mile Village despite what the internet may tell you. Four Mile Village is a tiny gated community within the Coffeen Nature Preserve. All private single family homes are on large lots and there are absolutely no condominiums. The "Yellow House" offers beautiful seclusion at the most private, pristine beach area in South Walton. It has fabulous views of the Gulf and is just a short stroll to the sugar white sands of the private community beach access (approximately 100 yards.)
From the private beach access turn east along the shore, past the last Village home and you are on the 2 mile stretch of preserved beach inside Topsail Hill State Park Preserve.
Light and airy with fun colorful fabrics, the 'Yellow House' is updated and fresh.
The 'Yellow House' invites you to slip back in time in an undeveloped Nature Preserve and pristine beach area. Relax, rejuvenate and make memories in a fun house and beautiful natural setting. The house can accommodate a total of 6 guests in beds, 1 guest and 1 small child on sofa pullouts.
If the excitement of the modern world beckons, cross the highway to Sandestin Resort and enjoy the restaurants, entertainment and shopping of Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard.
World class golfing is nearby.
The Yellow House is individually owned but professionally managed by Susan Paladini for David Walker Realty, Inc. Susan is the Resident Caretaker for Four Mile Village and the Coffeen Nature Preserve.

My family has been coming to 4 Mile Village for years and many of those visits were to the Yellow House. It is a perfect beach cottage.....beautifully decorated and in walking distance of the private "sugar" beach. 4 Mile is also part of the Coffeen Nature Preserve which makes it a peaceful, unique vacation getaway with restaurants, shopping and fun activities a short drive away.
This is a perfect beach house. Beautifully decorated. Wonderful ocean views from the balcony, and a very short walk to the beach. My family and I have stayed here several times, and have always loved it. Perfect for my grandsons with a nice screened porch for their play. No complaints whatsoever, and staying at Four Mile Village is just the best!
As a true beach lover I can tell you this is the best beach around! We love the yellow house and Four Mile Village. The owners are wonderful people and if you rent this house, you are certain to have a great time.
This is a charming, kid-friendly house. It is relaxed and confortable. We stayed here with friends and their young son and enjoyed it. The colors are cheery and it is decorated in a beachhouse motif. There is a great deck upstairs with a wonderful view of the AWESOME beach. The beach is really close - a very short walk. This is old-school beach house fun. You won't find a more perfect place to spend quality time with your family and friends. Four Mile Village is not like any other place, and that's a good thing. You will have an amazing beach all to yourself, and if you need a massage, go to a restaurant, or want to play golf or tennis, there is a resort right next door. At Four Mile, you are in a private nature preseve right outside your door without the hordes of people you will find everywhere else. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful natural setting, you have come to the right place. Enjoy.
