The apartment is very centrally located, right in the middle of the historic centre, two blocks from Piazza Bra. Cafes, restaurants and shops right outside the front door , but as the apartment is on the first floor at the back of the property you don't hear any noise at all.

Alessandra Isolato purchased this apartment in 2010
What a welcome I received upon my arrival to Verona! The apartment is located in the perfect spot, just down the street from the Piazza Bra. Not only did I find this convenient, but I had the feeling of being a local. It is private, yet central. The apartment is furnished with the finest amenities and is extremely comfortable. I look forward to returning someday to share this magic with some of my closest friends. You will love it, guaranteed.
We were so very fortunate to enjoy six days in Alessandra's beautiful apartment, right in the heart of Verona yet so peaceful and quiet that it could have been in the countryside. Our hostess is a wonderful, warm, interesting, and very welcoming person and we loved getting to know her. Her sister Patricia was so sweet too -- she gave us a painting she had made herself just for us, showing one of the beautiful piazzas in Verona. The apartment is perfect. It has a lovely sunny patio with table, chairs, umbrella, flowers and grapevines. The interior is spacious, superbly furnished, cool and quiet. The furnishings are perfectly comfortable with beautiful linens, a wonderful modern bathroom and shower, a large eat-in kitchen with excellent appliances and furnishings, and everything works perfectly. The wifi is fast and dependable as well, and Alessandra was so helpful when we had questions about restaurants, trains, what to see and do, absolutely everything. We would come back in a heartbeat! Many, many thanks to you, Alessandra, for sharing your lovely apartment with others. We miss you and we miss Verona!
Spent 10 days here in May. Location is phenomenal - located midway between Castelvecchio & Piazza Bra. Surrounded by bars, restaurants, historical sites, grocery store, shopping. But step inside the lobby of the building and you are in another world - quiet, private, well appointed, comfortable.
Alessandra is a perfect host. She provides information on places to visit, favorite restaurants, how to handle Italian trash recycling ( a big deal there). And the apartment comes equipped with extras like a hair dryer, air conditioning that works( in a country where all hotels tell you they can't turn it on by law because it is too early, a washing machine. And some basic supplies to get you started like toilet paper, paper towels, espresso, basic spices, olive oil, etc.
And a bottle of mineral water and a welcoming bottle of local wine. We had never heard of Custoza, but we liked this wine so much we bought several more bottles to enjoy while there. The kitchen is so well appointed that we made breakfast everyday we were there, and dinner 7 of our ten nights in the rental. Place is scrupulously clean. Highly recommend.
You couldn't ask for a lovelier, more comfortable vacation home. The apartment, which is more like a little house, is tucked in the heart of Verona yet has a feeling of seclusion from street life. Beautiful and bright inside and out. What a joy to have meals or a drink on the veranda surrounded by flowers and grape vines! Alessandra and her daughter (and their sweet dog) were always welcoming and available if needed, while ensuring a restful, private home. Everything looked and functioned beautifully. Verona is a jewel & this place a jewel within.
As other reviewers have said, a beautiful apartment right in the middle of the historic centre. Cafes, restaurants and shops right outside the front door (but as the apartment is on the 1/F at the back of the property you don't hear any noise at all). Alessandra was a wonderful hostess and extremely helpful driving with us to the car parking which is about 15 minutes by foot and even getting a monthly parking ticket for us which she cycled back to the car park to collect that evening. The apartment is spotless, good sized bathroom and shower all brand new and a great kitchen with everything you need. The a/c worked very well which was just as well as whilst we were in Verona the day time temperature ranged from 35-39C. Lots of cupboard space in the bedroom and the living room has a comfy sofa and a desk with a computer if you don't have your own. The outside space was beautiful to sit and have coffee in the morning and a drink in the evenings, with lots of plants and grapes vines, blackbirds stealing the grapes, and of course the wonderful Spotty dog who was extremely friendly after we'd given him some treats. Verona is a beautiful city, and even though it was August when a lot of Italy shuts down, most shops were open as were most of the restaurants and cafes. Via Mazzini is the main shopping street and has all the high end and high street shops. The Spar supermarket two minutes away was great with everything you need, lots of wines and Prosecco, fruit and veg, meat, household goods, we found everything and being so close was really useful. Verona is a very walkable town and although there were a lot of tourists it never seemed crowded apart from around Juliet's Balcony! As were there for two weeks we did lots of sightseeing around the northern part of Italy and Bolsano was particularly pretty. Fort Belvdere was a beautiful drive up very steep mountain roads with stunning views although we were disappointed in the actual place. We had booked opera tickets and weren't disappointed, it exceeded expectations. The sound is amazing in the amphitheatre and the setting is magical. Do wear flat shoes if you go as the steps are very steep! The restaurant (OsteriaCasa) in the road opposite the apartment that Alessandra recommended was excellent; Signor Vino wine bar/shop/restaurant was very good and good price. Certainly recommend the apartment to a couple, with or without a car and if we ever go to Verona again would book the apartment.
My husband and I spent two very hot summer weeks in Verona. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was so comfortable (great air conditioning, tasteful and practical furnishings) and we found it to be just perfect for the two of us. We have rented apts. in many parts of the world and this was one of our favorites. The location is outstanding as it is in the historical center of the city and everything is within an easy walking distance. The nearby supermarket was one of the best we have ever found in Italy and we found ourselves buying and making many of our meals in the apt. Alessandra was lovely and helpful when we needed anything. She even got us opera tickets before we arrived. All in all, the location and apartment could not have been more perfect!
