Apartment block Jardines del Sol II, 3 storeys. In the centre of Javea Puerto, 250 m from the sea. For shared use: garden lawn and plants, swimming pool (01.01.-31.12.) with internal staircase. Children's pool, terrace, public parking on the road. Shop, restaurant, bar 50 m, bus stop 100 m, sandy beach Arenal 1.2 km, shingle beach Playa de la Grava 250 m. Sports harbour 500 m, sports centre 50 m.
The apartment was in exactly the location we sought.
However, this apartment is woefully in need of improvement in a variety of sundry equipment, and in general maintenance. The lighting was poor, sundry kitchen and bathroom equipment was extremely poorly provided, and necessitated two visits to Interhome, the local management agency, to obtain help. I did receive prompt, partial support from the agency, but this did not cover all the apartment's failings.
I could not recommend this property, in its current state, to a friend or relative. I have send a lengthy email complaint to Interhome requesting some token reduction in fees for all the time and trouble I spent regarding the apartments failings. (If HomeAway require a copy of my email, I will gladly provide one).
Finally, I doubt that the owner of this property has visited it, or stayed in it for a very long time. However, Interhome need to improve their local QA procedures, as I have indicated to them.
