Cathy Scott purchased this house in 2003
We found this wonderful property in 2003.We appreciated the character of cove ceilings, hardwood floors, attic style bedrooms and the fabulous beachfront location. We spent the next 5 years revitalizing the house and property. This property now revitalizes our guests!
Quiet, private beach. Easy access to hiking, golf, fishing, skiing.... 2 minutes to Kingfisher Spa... close to the city but feels miles away... kids can explore... wonderful, friendly community...
We had a great time at Beachwood House. The spacious yard was perfect for our two small children.
After a long travel day from Seattle, we arrived shortly before sunset to a beautiful and well appointed beach house for the entire family to enjoy. The back yard was perfect for a little soccer practice, a fire pit to roast marshmallows, and beach chairs to relax in after a full day of hiking, fly fishing, whale watching or walking around Comox/Courtenay/Campbell River. The location was centrally located to Mount Washington, whale watching out of Campbell River, hiking up to Ripple Rock, and other fantastic outdoor activities. Furthermore, Cathy made the rental transaction easy and painless. I strongly recommend that you stay at the Beachwood House and enjoy all that the Comox Valley offers.
If you're looking for a little slice of heaven look no further then this property. Perfect location and no detail overlooked. This property is wonderful. Every possible amenity available while retaining a wonderful 'beachy chic' ambience. The owners and caretakers were a real pleasure to work with. It was hard to leave and left us wanting more. We would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a romantic getaway to a mini family reunion. We can't wait to go back!
