About Cheryl Anderson
We turned our family cabin purchased in 1986 into a vacation rental in 2002. We totally remodeled inside and out and designed with a professional designer to get all of the touches that make your stay more enjoyable. My husband, Dan and I live in Fort Collins, an hour away from Estes and do all of our own cleaning, maintenance, and improvements to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. I know you will love our warm and cozy home and the privacy the location offers.
Cheryl Anderson purchased this House in 1987
Why Cheryl Anderson chose Estes Park
Estes Park is just an hour away from our home, a great place for us to get away to one of the most beautiful places in Colorado. We originally built in 1986, remodeled in 2002, and continually work to improve the quality of the rental. Meadowdale Hills is a small subdivision with lots at nearly 2 acres with quiet and space. Elk love the meadow and ranch nearby and frequent our property.
What makes this House unique
Our home is only five minutes from downtown Estes Park making the location convenient but not in a crowded subdivision in town. My front porch is spacious with views that are inspiring. I provide many amenities so you don't have to pack so much for your trip, including condiments, spices, flour and sugar, robes, bag chairs for a picnic and many other items.

Great Location, Great Setting
The property is perfectly located outside of Estes Park and close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The house is great with two master bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, barbecue and Andirondack chairs on the porch to have a drink and watch the sunset. Friendly and helpful owner
It was so wonderful to have such wonderful guests. Our communications were so warm and engaging. Hope you will return to Estes Park and our home.
Charming Cabin perfect for our three generation family vacation
SO much character! We loved our stay at Snowed Inn Estes Snowed Inn Estes was the perfect size for our family of five, (mom, dad and three teens) with grandparents staying in the guest house. The living area was large enough to accommodate us, but everyone had their own space too, when needed. The kitchen was one of the most well-equipped of any VRBO we've stayed at in the past. We had no problems at all with any of the appliances, and my husband was glad to have the grill for our Burgers Night.
The master bedroom was very comfortable, and the second bedroom was very roomy (almost the same size as the master!). The third bedroom was a bit tight with two twins but my boys were fine in there. There are two bathrooms - one in the master bedroom area and the other next to the bedroom with the two twin beds. The master features a jetted tub but the only shower is in the other bathroom. But again, it was fine! Water pressure was great and felt awesome after a long day in Rocky Mountain National Park.
My in-laws really enjoyed having the guest house and the added privacy it allows. They were very comfortable in there. I popped in for a few minutes to check it out and it looked perfect for them.
Snowed Inn Estes is so convenient to Estes Park! It is perfectly situated just outside of town where it's quieter, but getting into town is a hop, skip and a jump down the road. It was super easy to get back to when we needed a break in the activities in Estes Park and RMNP. Safeway, Starbucks, the Visitor Center, restaurants and shopping - very close!
Notes on why I gave 4's on a few small things:
The check-in process was relatively straight forward but we came in at night and it took a few trips down the street to make sure we pulled into the right driveway. It is DARK there at night!!
And on location and neighborhood - we would have given it a 5 if we hadn't been so nervous about possibly upsetting the next door neighbor! We tried our best to be respectful to both physical boundaries and noise level so hopefully he didn't complain!
We hope to return to Estes Park and would not hesitate to return to Snowed Inn Estes! Thank you, Cheryl, for hosting our family!!
Thank you for your awesome review. Thank you for your kind words. Yes, it is very dark at night! Thank you again.
Great hidden gem!
Rented this place for a family vacation. Close to trails, shopping, and tons of activities with the escape of a quiet peaceful place to rest your head. Would gladly rent again!
Family Vacation at Snowed Inn
Scenic location outside of Estes Park that was very easy and convenient to go into town or Rocky Mountain National Park. The house was spacious and clean - lots of room in the kitchen and living areas, and the bedrooms were all good size and comfortable. The front porch was great to relax outside and enjoy the scenery. Cheryl (owner) was a pleasure to work with.
Thank you so much for your kind review. I am so happy you enjoyed your stay in my home. Hope to see you again sometime.
Lovely long weekend spot
I booked for my family, 6 in total with a baby. The house was lovely and comfortable and with the guest house it meant everyone had there own space. Cheryl was great and resolved a few things via text very quickly. It was quiet and the beds were so comfortable! The kitchen had everything you could need and there was plenty of extras to make the trip great. We’d love to stay again sometime!
Thank you so much for your kind remarks. You were absolutely awesome guests.
Conveniently located cabin home
Great location, convenient, and quiet neighborhood. Many elk pass through the lawn for up close wildlife viewing. The house has nice accommodations and necessities. Cheryl is friendly and responds to messages quickly. The major downside we had were how uncomfortable we were with the unwelcoming neighbor and potentially upsetting him. Overall though we enjoyed our stay.
Thank you for you kind words.
