Newly Renovated Housekeeping Cottage
Nauset Haven on Minister's Pond is a cottage community nestled among the pines, hugging the shoreline of a freshwater pond. Just 2.5 miles from both the ocean and bay beaches, our cottage is a blend of privacy and convenience. It offers waterviews and homey comfort in a beautiful Cape Cod setting. Participants in the CAPE COD SYMPOSIUM (1/2 mile away) and the CAPE COD INSTITUTE (2.4 miles away) have raved about this relaxing alternative to a motel room. Enjoy your meals on the enclosed porch overlooking Ministers Pond, a 21 acre freshwater kettle pond with it's own beach, dock and swimming platform. Take out one of the rowboats for a trip around the pond or some freshwater fishing. Nap under the pines in our hammock or barbecue on the patio. On those occasional cool cape nights cozy up to the wood-burning fireplace.
The Cape Cod bike trail, which you can access across the street, is a bike trail that goes from Dennis to Wellfleet. Rent a bike at L'il Capestrano Bike Shop which is 1 block away. Arnold's Family Restaurant is within walking distance for food, ice cream and mini-golf. Provincetown, a great place for shopping, dining and both people and whale watching is just 30 minutes away.

A cozy, clean, well-cared-for escape.
So enjoyed our stay in Cottage 6. Well equipped inside and out. Had morning coffee in chairs overlooking the pond and a lazy late afternoon spin in the row boat. Sublime.
A Slice of Heaven on the Cape…
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days at this sweet cottage! It was immaculate, perfectly outfitted for comfort (loved the AC on the one really hot still day) and conveniently located to enjoy both ocean and bay beaches. I loved having the pond close-by. In the early morning, I enjoyed coffee on the dock and at night, the frogs serenaded us! We were tempted to explore the wildlife in & around the pond in one of the rowboats but decided to walk around the Salt Pond area down the road. Amazing that The National Park Service has an area there, where you can actually go clamming!! We loved walking around Provincetown with its galleries and unique shops almost as much as we loved eating all the fresh delicious seafood. Lobster rolls and clam strips at Arnold’s were excellent—so much good food (homemade ice cream…) is so close to the cabin, we hardly used the new kitchen! Next visit we’ll take advantage of the bike trails. I am told biking is a pleasure through the beautiful and flat terrain—great for kids of all ages! We really appreciated all that #6 on Minister’s Pond has to offer from AC to comfy beds and furniture. We highly recommend this cottage for a comfortable & relaxing home to “get-away-from-home”. We look forward to our next visit—it’s delightful and we thank you for sharing it!

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend stay at the cottage. Beautifully renovated and charming - amazing views and quiet. We will definitely be looking to visit again. Highly recommend!
After enjoying it for 17 seasons (time does fly), Cottage 6 seems like a second home. Over the years, we've learned that sometimes it's better to slow down and take more time to do less. The cottage allows and rewards that. Now we're looking forward to another fine stay and to all of the changes that have been made and that look so inviting in the photos.
Peaceful and Cozy
My 2 daughters and I stayed here last summer for a week and truly loved our stay. We used the row boats and my girls loved sunning on the floating dock. The view of the pond from the sun porch is glorious, especially at dusk. Staying in Eastham is Cape Cod at its best: the National Seashore (with the famous Nauset Lighthouse), Cape Cod Bay and fresh water ponds galore. We can't wait to retun next summer.
Peaceful Cape Cod retreat
We recently had the opportunity to stay in this cozy cape cottage while attending the Wellfleet Oyster Festival. It is one of 10 cottages in a wooded setting. The location and view are just perfect with a prime spot perched up overlooking a peaceful pond with a dock. Very clean and well equipped with everything you will need for a getaway. Many restaurants nearby and beautiful beaches. Would love to stay here again.
