I would highly recommend this place to every one
Over all we thought this place was awesome ,and our dog loved it too. It was so peaceful we had to stay an extra day. I would not recommend snorkeling with the manatee out front, but my wife just had to do it. (the thrill of her trip) We saw abundant sea life snorkeling nearby. It was the best vacation we've been on in years. The on sight management was very accommodating . We felt as though we had the place to ourselves. By far the best bang for the buck in the keys
This place is very special and goodspirited. Something in between 68s and Woodstock.
Great little bunch of people living down the marina. Everybody makes you feel welcome on first sight. The Cabana is clean, cosy and is equipped with everything one needs. But it's just the atmosphere that counts on Tanya's premises. And this I'd say is unforgettable!! South Beach and Key West people seekers please keep out.
A car is a must. Best coffee nearby: Denny's Latin Café. (half a mile up north this side). Great food: "The hungry Tarpon" at Robbie's marina. Isla Morada, about 23 miles down south bayside.
stayed at the banana cabana in late may 06 for a fishing trip. great place to stay. put in and docked right there (16ft boat). clean and comfy. close to everything you might need or want to do. john, our host was great, super nice, very accommodating. would stay there again.
