You don't need to rent a car! Walk to restaurants, charming shops, grocery stores, The Breakers, Flagler Museum, Incoastal Bike/walking path, the beach, etc. Quick cab ride from PBI airport.
If you do plan to have a car, there is unrestricted parking on nearby neighboring streets. Sunrise Ave, where the Hotel is located, has one hour parking restrictions from 9 AM to 6 PM seven days a week. You can park overnight, but should have your vehicle moved by 10 AM to neighboring streets with unrestricted parking. We often have a car and never have difficulty in finding a space on North County Rd or Bradley Place above Seminole Ave. Everything we need and enjoy is walking distance to the Hotel so guests truly don't need a car. We are just a ten minute cab ride from Palm Beach International Airport. Back in 1925 when the Hotel was built, let's face it there were very few cars!
Palm Beach is the eastern most town in Florida, located on a 16-mile (26 km) long barrier island. The area we are located in is only three blocks wide from Intercoastal to the ocean. This unique resort community is filled with history and character that are reflected in its architecture, landscape and business community. The island boasts some of the most majestic and stunning homes in the world. The Atlantic Gulf Stream approaches the Palm Beach County coast closer than anywhere in the nation, bringing warm waters from the south. Palm Beach's moderate climate allows for outdoor activities throughout the year. Summer temperatures are tempered by ocean breezes.
Palm Beach Island is only three blocks wide where the Hotel is located. Minutes to the beach! Our quiet, charming, sunny two bedroom, NON-SMOKING condo is located in the heart of downtown Palm Beach at the Palm Beach Hotel, 235 Sunrise Avenue, and is designated an Historic Landmark. Our relaxing, suite is located on the third floor (building has two elevators and a handicap ramp for easy accessibility). The unit has two bedrooms (one with king bed and one with twin beds), each with its own full bath and flat screen TV. There is a small kitchenette with sink, microwave, toaster oven, small refrigerator, dishes, silverware, coffee pot as well as a breakfast bar. Living room/sitting area (TV) completes the picture. Maximum capacity is four. Free Wireless Internet reception in rooms, mezzanine/library area, lobby and loggia area near pool. Utilities included.
Newly renovated lobby and mezzanine has a library and game tables, laundry room on lower level. Over the last few years, there have been numerous upgrades at the Hotel. It is perfect for a mini and fun vacation.
Walk to at least 11 different restaurants! Relax in our tropical heated pool or on the large loggia enjoying a treat from the adjoining French Bakery. Walk to several houses of worship. (We are next door neighbors of St. Edwards Church, (the Kennedy family parish in Palm Beach.) Bike rental shop in building with Intercoastal bike/walking trail just one block west. The beach is just one block east. Brand new Publix grocery around the corner.

Just a ten minute taxi ride (approx. $20.00) from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) our guests really don't need to rent a car. Located between the Atlantic ocean and Intercoastal you can walk to beach (one block east), Flagler Museum, numerous houses of worship, The Breakers Hotel, grocery stores, charming shops along Royal Poinciana and just a little bit further, famous, fabulous Worth Avenue. Just walk over Flagler Bridge to West Palm Beach and all its restaurants and tourist sights. This is indeed LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.
Remember, Palm Beach isn't just for the rich and famous. Our beach chairs are waiting! (With the additional charges now for luggage weight and checked in luggage we have added beach towels to the unit for the convenience of our guests - If used, PLEASE WASH AND DRY THEM IN THE BASEMENT COIN LAUNDRY AS HOUSEKEEPING DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBLITY FOR THEM. We fell in love with The Palm Beach Hotel the minute we saw the outside. The charm and architectural beauty won our hearts immediately. We redid the unit and made it comfortable and relaxing for ourselves, family and guests. We have watched the building go through some wonderful renovations over the years. We even touched base with the family of the original builder who completed the Hotel in 1925 and helped in getting the Hotel designated an National Historic Landmark in 2009.
The location is the best! We delight in not having to rent a car, but instead enjoy just walking to the beach, superb restaurants like Testa's, (great Sunset special if in by 6:00 PM), Cucina Dell' Arte, The Breakers with its numerous restaurants. Also more casual dining like Toojay's, or even breakfast at Green's Pharmacy! We love renting bikes from the bike shop on the ground floor of our Hotel and riding along the intercoastal bike path, just around the corner. Flagler Bridge is nearby and we often walk over it to West Palm Beach and catch the trolley (free) near Bradley's Restaurant on Flagler Drive, and go over to City Place for shopping, movies and more great restaurants. Or...just walk down past Bradley's and enjoy all the restaurants on Clematis Street in West Palm. (Trolley has stop there as well)
We are delighted to hear from our guests and have over the last year had many return and enjoyed the area again and again! Our prices are very reasonable for the area. We understand what it is like to take a vacation, especially with children....we have five! Usually expensive! They will enjoy it here between the pool and the beach they will be exhausted. With a small kitchenette and a great brand new Publix Supermarket just around the corner, you are set!
We enjoy the Hotel year round! With low off season prices from May until November, you can't beat this location for a fun relaxing vacation.

Charming and convenient shops along Royal Poinciana Way, two minutes walk south! The Breakers...just past Royal Poinciana Way...in all its glory! (and expense!!) This location is just a wonderful place to just relax and be comfortable!

Hotel has charm and personnel were friendly and helpful. Unit was comfortable and the TV and internet were great. Beds were very comfortable. Swimming pool, though not in the sun, was warm and perfect for swimming laps. Plan to return next year to the hotel. The walk to the beach was easy and the beach perfect. Restaurants are 4-5 star. Liked Echo, The Catch, Bice, and Bistro Chez Jan Pierre and Testas.
We loved your condo. It had everything we needed! The use of the beach chairs and beach towels was wonderful. The condo is across the street from Publix supermarket which was wonderful. About 2 blocks from beach, we rented bikes and cycled everywhere. The grounds were well maintained and the pool was lovely. Staff was very helpful and Betty the owner was very helpful. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back again some day. Thank you.
We had an amazing stay. The condo owners and staff are very accommodating and helpful. It's a perfect location for walking to the beach or the grocery store. A bike rental shop is downstairs and bike trail nearby by.
We spend 4 wonderfull days (family Of 4, 2 small kids). The condo is really well localed and fits our needs (supermarket, restaurant, Beach). The apartment has everything you might need. Betty answer every small question we had in a ver y short time. Really worth it
Dear Bob and Betty it is with great pleasure that i am writing this review of our stay at your lovely, comfortable and clean apartment at the Palm Beach Hotel. Our stay on your beautiful piece of Florida was most enjoyable. As advertised we were located within easy walking distance of beaches, restaurants, local shops and casual and fine eateries. The people that we met and spoke to both in the building and in Palm Beach were very helpful and most welcoming. City Place and and its surrounding social scene in West Palm Beach, were comfortably within walking distance, and we thoroughly enjoyed walking across the Bridge. We visited some of the historic landmarks on Palm Beach; fascinating and interesting. The weather did not fail. Finally I must gratefully thank the owner again for the following; having a point of contact on site at the hotel was very helpful and they were most accommodating; taking the time and effort to send us copious information. such as things to do, places to eat and visit, transport etc and this has proved invaluable. Once again thank you very much, we absolutely loved staying there. I would recommend a stay at this apartment.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my three week vacation in your beautiful condominium in the Palm Beach Hotel. Although I read in the previous reviews how convenient it was to so many attractions, I was very surprised at just how convenient and how beautiful everything in the area was. I absolutely love it and although the weather while I was there wasn't the greatest, I didn't care. I was too busy walking to the Breakers or walking to Worth Avenue (best shopping ever) walking to the Flagler Museum, walking to the beach, walking around the Intercostal walking over to City Place or walking across the street to Publix. There was nothing I needed that I couldn't find within walking distance. Your condominium was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything I could ask for. You really are very fortunate to call the Palm Beach Hotel your home away from home. It is truly a very special place. I will definitely be back next year and every year after that I can. I won't be taking any clothes next time though. I'll buy them down there. Your stores are fantastic.
I have two nice stories to share. One afternoon my friend and I were in a jewelry store on Worth Avenue when we had a tornado warning. There were four other customers in the store and two saleswomen. One of the women told us we were on lockdown until the tornado passed. She went into the back room and came out with two bottles of champagne and a large tray of pastries and said "lets party". We all laughed and said if it was our time to go being on Worth Avenue was a good place to be. The woman calmed us all down and a half hour later we were back to our shopping.
My same friend and I went to the Kravis Art Center to see Kristin Chenoweth one night. As we were waiting to take the elevator to our nose bleed seats a gentleman came up to us and asked if we wanted his center orchestra fifteenth row seats for free. He had extras.
I can't thank you enough for sharing your little piece of heaven with me. It was one of my very best vacations. I will be back!

Palm Beach Island is only three blocks wide where the Hotel is located and we are on the middle block. Enjoy the beach, Hotel has heated tropical pool, great restaurants and shops, brand new Publix around the corner carrying everything any vacationer would desire.
Lake Trail one block west. Delightful for walking, bike riding etc.
Shortly before a guests arrival we send them an email with helpful suggestions on places to enjoy in the area.
During winter high season requests for dates must not allow more then a day open between previous reservation. This is to avoid short open dates which would be unlikely filled.

We use a small realty firm located in the lobby of the Hotel to take our reservations and deposits.
Just email us the dates you wish to book and we will have them email you their contact info as well
as put a hold on the unit for 24 hours to allow you time to call and reserve the unit on a major
credit card. 15%Non-refundable deposit at time of Reservation-2 weeks or more - 30% deposit required.
