--Ladies, We just wanted to say thank you for opening this beautiful home to us. We came here to make a memorable weekend for our son before he starts college in Baltimore. As this was for him to enjoy, we were pleasantly surprised with the house and area being such a romantic time for us to celebrate our own 24th Anniversary. For our sake, we will have to return alone for a fantastic getaway weekend. It was so great to relax and forget the world for a while. Thank you all! G&T

--Thank you Eva-- We had a wonderful time. Such a great place. The B Family, Lake Tahoe, CA
Everything you could possibly want in a dwelling is here. Cozy, well equipped, beautifully furnished, and with your own private deck for morning coffee. The owner was communicative and helpful. Walking distance to a fabulous Indian restaurant. Parking space is such a wonderful plus. Highly recommend!
This house was as well-appointed as pictured. Perfect location. Everything you need for simple meal preparation. Very clean. The owner was great to work with. We had a wonderful week as we celebrated our son's graduation from JHU; the house had plenty of room to even do a bit of entertaining as we had family come in for the event. Location was perfect - easy walk to Brewer's Art, and the Bun Shop was literally a few houses down.
large flatscreen on second floor with cozy sitting area
patio lovely on a pleasant night
street was quiet and felt safe
if you can't handle stairs, don't stay here - but to us, they were good exercise!
Easy walking to: Bun Shop, Milk and Honey, Brewer's Art, restaurants all along Charles in Mt. Vernon, B. Bistro at Bolton Hill
Would make the same decision in a heartbeat!
I took my husband to Baltimore to celebrate his birthday. As we were never there, we really didn't know what part of town would be the best place to have a home base. I absolutely loved the picture of the front of the house so took the plunge and booked it. I am so glad we did. It was utterly charming as was the street and the neighborhood. It was a good walk to the water but that's what going to a new city is all about. There were a lot of great restaurants in the immediate area and museums. The balcony off the bedroom was the perfect spot to sit with a glass of wine at the end of a busy day as we planned where we would go for dinner. And the bed was big and comfortable.
A leak started from the bathroom into the kitchen down below. We called Eva and she said she would get someone out there as soon as she could. As homeowners, we knew that weekend charges are a heck of a lot more than weekday so we just told her we would shut off the water to the toilet when we weren't using it and she could take care of it after we left.
All in all, we can highly recommend this townhouse.
My first impression was good, and I really liked the location. Eva was wonderful and very easy to deal with.
It was not as clean as i would have expected, especially the bathroom.
Three of us were there for our daughters college graduation and Xmas. Dining in the house was not comfortable as there/s a small table with only 3 bar stools. Seating for 4 people would have made it nicer.
Our family was in Baltimore for a wedding. We stayed at this amazing townhouse rather than at the suggested hotel---major score! Eva was wonderful and welcoming and we had everything we could possibly need--including a parking pass for the lot across the street. The townhouse has an awesome funky, but very homey feel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't even consider other housing options if we return to Baltimore. Some of our family members came over to check out where we were staying and they were so completely jealous! Thanks again Eva.
My sister and I were visiting Baltimore to celebrate a local friend's birthday. We had the BEST time in this city! Our native friends were excited that we'd found a weekend rental in the Mt Vernon neighborhood. Terrific restaurants, plenty of stuff to see and do. The setting and the property could not have been more perfect.
The accommodations were of such high quality! Great design, wonderful linens, TWO hi-def tvs with premium cable, free wi-fi, quality appliances, I could go on and on. We were amazed at the value received. Decided to stay an extra day. Owner/manager was super accommodating and very attentive to our comfort.
High marks for the Treasure on Tyson! Thank you so much.
