There is always a rotten apple out there.



This lady tried to stay longer because of the volcanoes in Great Britain.







Basically she freaked out because she could not get home.



She charged a bunch of things than claimed her card was lost so she tried to get a 3 days free from us.



Unfortunately for her we had her other credit card information and could not steal from us. That's why she was MAD!



We hear she stuffed the pizza man and others in the area with the card she said was lost.







This will all caught up with her in the end I'm sure.



She will never be allowed at Cane Island again.

Very pleased and would recommend to others

This was our 3rd time staying at Cane Island and this was the best condo we've stayed at.

Everything was clean and the pictures were accurate (we stayed in the condo with blue walls).

The condo overlooks the lake and club house and is on the 2nd floor so perfect for privacy and a great view.

Can't recommend this highly enough although the one (very small) negative was that there is no wifi (only wired connection).

We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Great stay

We stayed 5 nights. This is a very quiet place to stay, very little noise from neighbors. We were comfortable in the king bed. The pillows could use an update, but that's not a big deal. The twin beds were fine, but rather squeaky. The sofa bed was typical, I would not want to sleep on it. (The usual thin mattress where you feel every spring). The condo is nicely decorated, with a nice view. The kitchen was well-stocked, though we didn't use it much. We loved having a washer and dryer so we could pack light. The A/C worked great, the water pressure was fine. There is a password on the side of the router which worked just fine for our iPhones to use wifi. We didn't use the TV's so can't comment on that other than there are 2 nice flat screens. There's a drug store on the corner, many restaurants close by and a Walmart near. It's a great location. Not far from Universal or Disney. It was nice to take my breakfast out on the balcony and enjoy the view. Parking gets pretty full, but we never had to park very far away. We never used the pool, so can't comment. We spent our days at the parks and pretty much just came here to sleep. It would definitely work fine for longer, more relaxed stays as well. We loved the flooring in the kitchen & living areas.

Unsatisfactory dealings with owner

Cane island is great. This condo was really nice and had everything we needed EXCEPT a working air conditioner which was broke our entire stay. The management company were quick to respond to us and did bring many fans to try to help with the heat however the owner did not feel like he should compensate us in any way after learning that nights were unbearable for us. My husband and infant and our mothers all had a very hard time sleeping with the heat. We contemplated renting a hotel the last two nights but it would have been too difficult to move everything with the baby. I wouldn't rent from this person in particular again but there are plenty of other tentals at cane island that I'm sure would be great.

Owner's Response: Our Management is rate A+ with the B B B They said guest never complained after the fans were given to them. In addition we gave them a free play pen for the little one. For Pete's sake we have brand new mattresses on every bed. We have also put in Brand new laminated hardwood floors. We try to keep our place up but this was just one of those situation which was out of our control. There were defective evaporator coils with Good Man A/C unit. These coils can not be repaired and the whole a/c unit must be replaced. If we could have fixed it we would have. Don't know what this guest is looking for? The rates are cheap as it is. We have over 30 good reviews. The A/C unit is being replace right now. Pete Owner Agent

A fantastic place to call home when in Orlando!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Orlando (Kissimmee), and having a nice place to return “home” to every night was a significant part of that experience.

The pictures and description of the condo are very accurate.

It was very easy to work with Pete, the owner.

I would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend this condo to anyone planning to visit the area!

Very happy with our stay

We were very happy with the condo. The photos accurately reflected the condo and it was neat and clean when we arrived. The condo is centrally located near major attractions and with a Publix, CVS and Krispy Kreme just around the corner (not to mention the countless restaurants), it was a great spot. We had an opportunity to use the pool and take a walk around the grounds. It was quiet during out stay.

It was so nice to have the extra room to relax and unwind after a busy day. We look forward to renting the condo again.

Beautiful Condo Close to Theme Parks

We rented a two-bedroomed apartment here for five nights on our arrival in Orlando before moving on to tour the rest of Florida and this apartment was definitely one of our favourites. The quality of the furnishings was excellent and the resort is perfectly situated just off the 192 so the theme parks were within easy reach. The pool area is quite small for the number of apartments but having said that it wasn't too busy on the days we used it. Having the washer/dryer was excellent so we could prepare ourselves for the next leg of our journey.

It was also one of the cheaper apartments we rented on our tour, excellent value. Would highly recommend.
