An oasis in the desert!

  • 5 of 5

I recently had the good fortune to stay at Patio House for 4 weeks! Everything about my stay was perfect. The furnishings are stunning. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided. The patios are secluded, quiet and peaceful. The grounds throughout the complex are meticulously maintained - it felt like I was living in a park! Being from Washington, I loved to see so much greenery. I highly recommend a stay at Patio House! I certainly hope to make a return trip! Thank you Christi and Paul for sharing your home with me!

Great location in a beautiful setting.

Pictures on website are accurate. Very nice home for the four of us but also comfortable for a group dinner. Hummingbirds were regular guests!

Lovely and spacious patio home

  • 5 of 5

Great location near all conveniences yet quiet and a bit of retreat. Didn't have time to check out pool. Home was beautifully decorated but also very comfortable. Sabine Canyon is 10 min drive.

Fall in love with Tucson

  • 5 of 5

Because of this beautiful townhouse we have decided to look into moving to Tucson. The floorplan is perfect, loved the decorations. Perfect size for retirement. Most of all enjoyed the wrap around patio. Enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and other birds. Beautiful foliage. Can't wait to go back to the area. Too bad this place isn't for sale.

About Christi and Paul

Christi & Paul live on Cape Cod year 'round, but enjoy the SW US a lot, because it's so different from home! Paul is a writer, and Christi a financial advisor.

Christi and Paul purchased this townhome in 2008

Why Christi and Paul chose Tucson

Tucson has it ALL year-round!!!

What makes this townhome unique

Peace and quiet is yours if you like! The views of the Santa Catalina Mtns was the best of all the houses we looked at! It's close to the 'great outdoors', as well as culture, shopping, dining, and everything else Tucson has to offer!!!

Guestbook comments from the owner

The house is equipped with everything, we didn't miss anything, and most important, it has been nicely furnished by the owners. Inside and outside you recognize that they put their hearts in furnishing, equipping and maintaining the house.Communication with the owners (very flexible) was very easy, friendly, prompt and reliable. (Very important for us!) Description and pictures let you expect a lot and you know what: We felt that we got very much more than we expected. The site of the house either lets you stay by yourself just to relax or communicate with the neighbors (whatever your mood is). Views of the surroundings (mountains, desert, cacti etc.) are spectacular and considering all the things you can do there, we only did a few. Why? Patio House has seating spots in nearly every corner of the garden allowing you to relax depending on position of the sun, what we enjoyed very much. Considering everything, it has been a Five-Star feeling for us.

Thank you Christi and Paul.

This Patio Town home is located in one of the older, established areas of NE Tucson and is considered one of the most desirable in the city. This neighborhood, lined with lots of shady trees and palms is close to TANQUE VERDE Wash and only 4 miles from the entrance to SABINO CANYON, a popular hiking and picnicking destination. Not too far is the road to the summit of MT. LEMMON; and within a short driving distance are hiking trails throughout SAGUARO NAT'L MON. About 45 mins west is the wonderful and ever-changing ARIZONA-SONORA DESERT MUSEUM, & the movie town of OLD TUCSON- lots of fun for kids of all ages! An hour away to the SE is the newly-discovered & fascinating KARTCHNER CAVERNS, and if you want to travel further, you can visit TOMBSTONE - home of the infamous OK CORRAL! The town of TUBAC, known for its artisans and craftsmen is only a little over 1 hr south, toward NOGALES, MEX. All these make great day trips!
