LOCATED IN THE VERY HEART OF KONA. This Penthouse fourth floor (top) unit has the best view in the complex. Directly across the street from the ocean you look down on Alii Drive and all of the activity in the heart of Kona. We love to sit on the lanai in the evening and watch all the activity below. (Cruise ships, sight-seeing boats, outrigger canoes, and fishing boats---All can be watched from our Lanai.) Kona Village closes down by 9:00 PM, so after nine the only thing you will hear from the Lanai are the ocean waves.
Our condo is turnkey and has everything you need for a stay of a few days or several months. Inside walls between units are 12 inch thick concrete which makes our condo very quite and peaceful. King bed in the bedroom for maximum sleeping pleasure. This unit has everything you need for a fun stay, internet, and there is even an answering machine for the phone to take your calls when you are away enjoying the many activites available.
Complex has private covered gated parking. Elevators from basement parking to your room. Fourth floor has sundeck - gas grill, chairs, and tables for nice get togethers. Within walking distance of our home (condo) are Kamakahonu Beach (one of the calmest beaches on the Island), Hulihe'e Palace, Mokuaikaua Church (oldest in Hawaii), Kailua Pier, and Kona Inn shopping Village.

Everything we needed was supplied from cooking to going to the beach. Very clean and furnished very nicely. Would stay here again
Just got back from our stay after renting a home near Hilo and this condo in kailua kona we really enjoyed!
We are young adults and had lots of activities planned so when we would get home for the night we enjoyed everything this apt has to offer.

Right in the hustle and bustle of down town, centrally located which made going on our adventures easy, we didn't spend much time in the rental
Stocked with shared accessories like boogie boards, water shoes and bored games
Walking distance to restaurants, tourist shops, activity info centers and small water access area
Due to its location, expect lots of city noises
Rental is apart of a complex mixed with vacationers and permanent residence
Not a deal breaker for me but the lanai doors/screens are tricky, bedroom TV is manually set

We were thrilled with our stay in this condo. We have stayed at Kona Plaza before but this was the best. We just spent hours watching the water and main street in downtown Kailua Village. Owners were easy to work with and everything we needed was right there. And we could walk to anything we wanted it was so close. Thank you for a wonderful restful vacation we will feel the affects of for a very long time. Want to be back next year.
Having stayed in the Plaza before, I would say that this unit offers one of the best ocean views, being on the 4th floor, and directly facing Ali Dr and the ocean. The unit is well equipped and ready to go. You will not be sorry. The Plaza has plenty of gated parking and direct access to Alii Dr through a security door.
We just finished a wonderful vacation in this condo. It has everything you need and is in a great location. You can walk to the farmers market & other shopping and dining. The view from the lanai terrific. The sunsets are breath taking. We would certainly love to stay here again and I recommend it for anyone.
I enjoyed my stay very much. The unit is very nice and centrally located. The owners were a delight to work with. Onsite management was courteous and helpful. Note that if you're looking for the replacement bags for the garbage can in the kitchen, they're under the existing bag on the bottom of the garbage can (ie, you have to remove the bag in the can to find the new ones underneath).

Rates: March 16th through September 30th and October 16th through December 15th $135 per night.
Ironman: October 1st through October 15th $150 per night.
December 16th through March 15th $150 per night.
$250 deposit to block out dates with balance in full due 30 days prior to stay. We accept cashier's checks in U.S. denomination.
