This family size home on a private setting overlooks the Siuslaw River and Pacific Ocean. It is a short walk to the Old Town area of Florence that offers a great selection of dining and shopping opportunities.
The property is approximately 1 mile from the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area for ATV riders. There is a flat lower yard for outdoor activities such as horseshoes, badminton, volleyball, etc; and upper yard including an entertaining patio with for barbecues and outdoor dining. There is ample parking for multiple single vehicles, vehicles pulling trailers, and/or RV's and Motor homes.

Clean and comfortable home with great views, easy access and is close to all activities. Would certainly return for future visits to the Florence area.
The property is well located to old town and Florence in general. The view is great and refreshing to be able to look out each time when walking past the windows and sliding door leading to the deck area. A major concern is the steep, rough, narrow road and the potential dangerous exit onto highway 101. The house could use some minor repairs, such as the downstairs bathroom, etc. In one of the downstairs bedrooms, the mattress needs to be replaced. All of our group enjoyed their stay and had a good time with fishing, sight seeing, beach walking, visiting the local eateries, BJ's ice cream, etc.
Everything was great until we ran out of water....owner might want to check it out we had 12people and I think the well cannot handle it!!!!!!
Great place to stay with amazing view of the Siuslaw river. Very comfortable and location is right by the warf. Very satisfied
We absolutely loved our stay here. There are amazing views from the wrap-around deck (and inside too!), a spacious yard, and the house is close enough to downtown to be convenient, but tucked away enough so you have privacy. The owners are also very friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with.
Had a great time here. The turn to get to the house is a small private road (We all missed it the first time) which leads up a one lane driveway, but when you get to the top it opens up to a wide area. The view from the house out of the back is beautiful. A bit of everything from the forest, to Old Town, to the river.
Everything is minutes away, even the Great Dunes. Old Town has nice little shops, and there are restaurants that have something for everyone. There are also many different places to get coffee.
As for the house it is very comfortable. A 2 level house means kids can hang on one floor, while adults visit on the other.
While we didn't spend much time at the house, when we did we could sit around the firepit, or watch one of the hundreds of dvds, vhs tapes, or movies on hard drive that they have, or sit on the back patio and enjoy the view.
The five rooms are comfortable, with anyone extra having couche. Everyone who slept over remarked about what a great house it was.
The owners are great. Any questions are answered quickly.
If I had to be critical about anything, it would be the water heater. For a house that sleeps 12, only 4 people can shower before the next group has to wait. I would suggest for large groups to have 1/2 shower at night. Thus is not a complaint, just an observation and helpful advice. If we ever go back to Florence we would definitely stay here again.
