We explored all over Cape Cod, and this was our favorite town and beach.

Loved your photos too. Like a treasure hunt finding the different scenes.

Another Wonderful Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at this great home. The layout and location was perfect. The home was clean and maintained well. My husband and I enjoy the Cape off season as do our relatives and friends. Sue Angus always responded promptly to any questions we had. Our relatives and friends were very impressed with the home as were our family members who reside on Cape Cod.

This was our second year staying at this great house. The home was very clean and well cared for and the street is quiet and peaceful. My husband and I enjoy the Cape off season as do our family and friends. Sue Angus was always responsive to any questions we had. Everyone that stopped by to visit were impressed with the property, including our relatives that live on the Cape.

Best Family Vacation So Far

  • 5 of 5

We had visited Barnstable by ourselves in 2014 and decided to bring the kids with us this year. We had a great time and the house was perfect for us, it allowed us some space and we really enjoyed all the areas. Our parents also stopped by for two nights and they were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the atrium with the lazy boy chair and sofa as well as the outdoor shower, even our 11-year old son got a kick out of that. The location is just superb, with the private beach down the street, walking distance into town and the marina. All the touristy attractions are 15-20 min drive from the house and well within reach but not close enough to ruin the peace and quiet. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking to visit Cape Cod and Sue Angus (our hostess) is very supportive and helpful.

Wonderful Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Just returned home from a wonderful week in Barnstable. Home (I think the locals call them cottages) is very comfortable, has all the amenities anyone would want. Has a large flat screen TV, which we only turned on once for about 20 minutes. House has A/C which was nice to have on humid days. Lovely deck in the back, and even an outdoor shower.

Area is very quiet, no sirens, no road noise, no loud music from neighbors. Just listed to the sound of the birds each morning. Beach is a lovely walk down the private lane. Walked to the Barnstable Marina one morning.

Went whale watching (boat left from the Marina), which was a must do, before the whales migrate to the Caribbean in October.

We had breakfast a few times at the Blue Plate Diner, on Main St, wasn't far away. At the Harbor is Osterville Fish Market Too. We ordered dinner one evening to take home, lobster, crab cakes, and fish sandwich. The day we departed, we had lunch there on the outdoor patio.

There is a great grocery store next to the Blue Plate Diner. Only discovered this after talking to a neighbor at the beach.

Wonderful vacation, loved the area, and would recommend this home for your stay.

Perfect house!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect house, perfect location. Have stayed there twice. And Sue is wonderful and so accommodating! I don't want to recommend it too highly because I don't want to ever have to give up my time! My daughter and son-in-law come with their little girl and no one is in anyone's way! We just love it! Thank you for having such a great place for us to stay.

A wonderful and comfortable house!

  • 5 of 5

Such a lovely spot. My two teenage girls enjoyed the beach and quiet time to catch up on summer reading. My sister who has MS found the house very easy to get around. Beautiful and airy filled with Cape air. The walk to the beach is so nice and neighbors were so friendly. The harbor is so close and a nice walk and we spent quite a few nights at the little fish hut down the street. The house is so comfortable . Hyannis and Barnstable Village are so close and we took a nice afternoon drive visiting the national seashore. The owner was just so nice, a wonderful time.
