We'll greet you at your car and, explain how parking works, and we'll tell you where things are located at the Resort and show you to your room, we'll give you a brief tour of the suite and actually hand you your keys in person. Reminding you that 'our home is your home' and letting you know if you ever need anything, just call or text us. For us, it's about welcoming you to Maui or welcoming you back to Maui, whether it's your first trip or just another trip to Maui, we want to make it as special as it can be.
With us you get us, we have no employees or 'managers'. If you like dealing with hands on owners please give us a call, and if you end up not renting with us, we can at least get you going in the right direction.

-With us you get actual pictures of the unit and the actual view from the unit.(no zooming)
-Free Local and Long Distance Phone Calls to the U.S. and Canada.
-No worrying about when when the maid service is going to interupt your day.
-We personally inspect the unit prior to arrivals.
-Use of swimming pool, exercise room, concierge service, bell and valet service, activities center. We also provide beach chairs, beach toys and towels and binoculars.
-Charge all resort costs on your credit card.
-Our Complimentary Aloha Welcome Package includes a bottle of chilled champagne, a bag of 100% Maui Grown Coffee, a box of Hawaiian chocolates, AVEDA Shampoo, Soaps, beach towels/chairs, and local magazines.
-We live 5 minutes from the resort and we are on property just about everyday. We take your stay personally, so anything that comes up, we will be there.

This unit is front and center with panoramic ocean views from Lanaia to Molokai. Located on the 3rd floor this 2290 sq. ft. residence has a 560 sq. ft. lanai with a Viking gas BBQ. Of the 3 bedrooms, 2 are master suites.

-Crown Moulding in the living area.
-Ceiling fan in living area, as well as, air conditioning
-Large custom glass doors to lanai to maximize views and natural light.

Check In 4pm Check Out 11am. We will accommodate early check-in or late check out when the schedule allows. We understand that many flights arrive late morning and that many flights depart late at night. We were regulars on that red eye to SFO, and the ride home just got too depressing so we moved here.

I've been coming to Maui for 40 years and I am an original Kaanapali Alii owner. I bought this Honua Kai unit because there is nothing like it in Maui. While my heart will always be at the Alii, my head is with Honua Kai. My daughter manages my unit and she lives just up the street from the resort. Mahalo Anita

We had a wonderful time at your beautiful condo. Everything, including the view, was perfect. It was hard to leave to go do anything else on the island, because we just wanted to sit on the lanai and enjoy the view. This 3 bedroom spacious condo is located in a convenient area close to everything, including the walking trail which I used every morning. Thank you, Joe and Rhonda.
We just got back from a week long stay in this unit. We had a group of three couples and a couple small children. It worked perfectly for all us. We all agreed that we would only rent this unit if we go back to Maui. The location on the end of the building is ideal. You can watch whales from the lanai and can also see most of the pools from there as well. The owners are wonderful and very easy to work with. They had lots of beach and pool toys that we could use including a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. They also had a pack'n play, highchair and swing for the baby. The resort was also perfect for our group. It was not crowded and everything was very family friendly. There is an adults only pool if you aren't there with kids. Dukes was delicious and had a great happy hour. But most nights we got fish from the fish market up the street and just grilled on our lanai. The elevator is down a long hallway, but there is a staircase right next to the unit that makes getting to and from the pool/Dukes/beach a snap. I highly recommend this unit!!!!
We had the most amazing week in paradise. We were nervous about one of the pools being closed for renovatios, but truthfully it never impacted our vacation one bit. Joe was so easy to work with and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The condo is beautiful, clean, and supplied with everything you need. I would definetly recommend this property and this specific unit and hope to return soon!
This unit was excellent. Great location behind Duke's and near the pool. Three couples stayed here, plenty of room and the large lanai is to die for. Stocked with everything you could imagine you needed. A definite luxury home away from home.
My wife & me, our son & his wife and our 2 grandchildren fit so comfortably into this incredible unit. We used the great pools, hot tubs, spa, food store, courtyard, photography service, Duke's and every inch of this spectacular home. The lanai with Viking Grill was wonderful for memorable evening meals. The goodie closet with beach chairs, floats, fins, goggles and noodles was so useful for any type of beach or pool activity. I appreciated the security safe, Internet access was flawless and the in-home sound system was great for setting a relaxing mood. We had an exceptional 9 days in Maui celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary thanks to Joe and Rhonda and their stunning condo.

My husband, daughter and her boyfriend and my ex-husband and his wife (yes you read that right!) just spent the week of March 14-21, 2015 at this incredible place. My expectations were high after reading reviews and seeing the photos. Well, all of our expectations were exceeded. The pictures do NOT do this place justice. When we walked in the place we felt like we were in an episode of Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous! The view is spectacular and the grounds were awesome! There are five pools on the grounds, including a slide and a lazy river. The beach was great and a sea turtle was literally 3 feet from me in the ocean! Though the place is a little pricey we saved a lot on food. There were six of us and were never once breathing down each others' necks. Dukes restaurant had great food at reasonable prices for Maui. A favorite was the macadamia nut crusted A'hu. Joe and Rhonda were very accommodating.
I cannot say enough good things. Already saving up to come to Maui and rent with Joe and Rhonda again.
