Lakeside cottage and adjacent bunkhouse with 330 feet of frontage on 12-mile-long Sebec Lake. Gorgeous views of Borestone Mountain and spectacular sunsets. Large front lawn with room for volleyball or croquet (equipment provided), two boat docks and a swimming dock. Small sand beach with a gentle slope. Very private and quiet but convenient to town -- only a 10-minute drive. Large open side porch and glassed-in front porch. The property totals 20 acres, most of it wooded (good for exploring), with a small pond up back (lots of polywogs and frogs, perhaps some fish). Sebec Lake is clear and clean; a wonderful spot for swimming, boating, and water sports.
There are four 9-hole golf courses within a 25 mile radius, and also 18 hole courses about an hour away. Very good fly fishing and white water rafting on the Penobscot River one and a half hours away. Shopping, restaurants, library, movie theatre, tennis courts and hospital in Dover-foxcroft, six miles away.

Dover-Foxcroft is located at the southern edge of Maine's great north woods. As the County Seat it contains stores, churches, restaurants, a movie theater, and the regional hospital. Local attractions include hiking up Borestone Mountain, walking at Gulf Hagas (called the Grand Canyon of Maine), climbing Mt Katadin (5200 ft, the tallest mountain in Maine), and rafting on the Kenebec and Penobscot Rivers. Many local roads have little traffic and are good for running and bicycling.
