Stay in Austin's only REAL loft -- that is, an old warehouse that was converted into live/work spaces. The building was built in the 1980s as a produce warehouse, and in 2007 it was converted into 14 live/work space lofts.

This is a one-of-a-kind, architecturally-unique property. It's close enough to all that makes Austin great (hike/bike trails, Lake Austin, Lady Bird Lake, downtown, UT, etc.), but far enough from the crowds to let you relax with peace and quiet while you're at the loft.

The unit is a 2-story end unit, with 16 ft. ceilings upstairs and 10 ft. ceilings downstairs. It has an open floor plan, exposed ducts, and lots of windows that have unobstructed treetop views. There are views of downtown and the 'hill country' from the 2nd story. The only interior doors in the loft are to the bathrooms.

No expense was spared in finishing-out this unit: it includes original and reproduction mid-century furniture; original art from Uruguay, Brazil, California, and NY; and a sophisticated home theater and other electronics, with all rooms wired for sound.

The loft complex is in a re-developing part of Austin and it's surrounded by uniquely-Austin restaurants, bars, clubs, and lounges -- without any 'chain' restaurants, bars, or cafes in the vicinity.

My home away from home is your home away from home.

A few blocks away: the river and the Lance Armstrong Bike Trail. Walking distance: Warehouse District, Central 6th Street, the capitol, LBJ Presidential Library, and the Texas State Cemetary. 3-10 minute drive: SoCo, Lady Bird Lake, Lake Austin, Zilker Park, Barton Springs, and the world's biggest Whole Foods. Airport: 12-15 minute drive (no traffic).

Great accommodations and great area

This was our second time staying here and we absolutely loved it just like we did the first time. So convenient to local coffee shops and great dining you never need to get in your car to experience the new up-and-coming area of East Austin.

Great apartment in great location!

This apartment was perfect. It was very clean and spacious. Can accommodate multiple people. It is in a great location, easy to walk to all the action of 6th street and rainy street but apartment itself is in a nice quiet area. Has a small grocery store and liquor store up the street, as well as several restaurants. Owner is easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay there again.

Modern comfort

We enjoyed the loft and will absolutely return. The bed was like sleeping on clouds! If you want to experience the east side of Austin, stay here. Late night bars and restaurants are walking distance. Booking with Todd was simple. The loft is clean, comfy, bright, and comfy.

Todd's loft was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Austin. The loft had more then enough room and was very comforting, easily fitting 4 people. The location was perfect with amazing food options all around, 15 minute walk to the university and a $15 can ride to the many waterholes around Austin. Todd was super easy to communicate with. I will defiantly be staying in Todd's loft when I am in Austin next, hopefully sooner rather then later.
