Guestbook comments from the owner

Everything about our vacation was wonderful thanks to your lovely home. From the moment we arrived in the driveway, we knew was going to be fabulous. We would have been happy to not have left your home the entire time we were here.

We enjoyed a cozy fire in the fireplace, cooking at home, and watching movies together almost every night. Although it was generally too chilly to enjoy the decks as we had hoped, the soothing sounds of the creeks were music to our souls.

We truly hate to leave this special piece of heaven! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

Beautiful Place!

  • 5 of 5

This home is beautifully furnished, clean, well supplied and in an absolutely gorgeous setting where the two creeks meet. We loved the area and thoroughly enjoyed our day trips, the scenery all around and great restaurants nearby. Halfway through the week we were talking about our return "next year."

Awesome Thanksgiving Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at this lovely home. This year our family came for Thanksgiving vacation ( 7 days) and it was the most memorable Thanksgiving that we have ever shared. The home is very clean and decorated very nicely. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving feast. It snowed the evening before and we woke up on Thanksgiving day to it snowing. The grandkids had fun playing in the snow and making marsh mellows in the fire pit next to the beautiful stream while it snowed. The owners contacted us the evening of arrival to make sure we had arrived safely and told us if we needed anything to please call. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful this home is. It is centrally located and the ride to the home is breathtaking. The streams that run behind the home can be heard in the home and it makes for a very relaxing atmosphere. The beds are the top of the line and we slept so good. I highly recommend this and we will be coming back. Thank you Randy & Wanda for sharing your beautiful home with us. The Shaw & Schnyder Family from Florida.

Soooh...Special!!!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful mountain home. It was exactly what I wanted and more. I was tired of the rustic cabin theme and wanted a unique decor inside and spectacular landscape outside. It took several days to explore all the wonderful spaces this house offered. The wall of over-large windows made you feel you were always outside while enjoying all the plush comforts inside. The king size bed offered the best mattress I have ever felt. Every room was a warm mixture of vintage and traditional furniture topped off with all the modern amenities. After a few days of rain, we were able to see the two rushing streams at their peak. This a one-of-a kind location that is not to be missed. The yard, decks, and balconies were all very private and surrounded by nature. We made day trips to the Biltmore Estate, Smokey Mountain National Park, Cherokee, and Gatlingburg. But for me, the house and its landscape was the best part of our vacation.

We chose this for anniversary get-away. Perfect choice. Very clean, private, well decorated. Enjoyed relaxing on multi-level deck(s) next to creek and overlooking creek from master bedroom. Everything provided except the food. We rate this very highly. No complaints whatsoever.

My Franklin Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

We have vacationed at this property many times. The home is warm and comfortable, is always spotless upon our arrival and well-equipped. The owners are friendly and responsive. The area is just a little remote, so be prepared to spend time in the car if you plan to take advantage of the many outdoor activities that are available in the surrounding area. That said, the remoteness of the location is part of the charm of staying here. The stream and other natural surroundings melt away stress and anxiety as soon as you walk through the door. Already thinking about my next stay.
