We really loved this place. The location to town and a couple great scenic beaches was great!
We stayed there with the whole family, 2 adults and 3 kids. My kids keep talking about going back and loved the loft sleeping! Although our weather was a complete mess, we had a fire in the cute little cottage and played cards in between rain drops. Comfortable and well managed. Laurie was so accommodating and friendly and was oncall for anything we needed at all times. Love the area and will definitely go back!
Charming getaway spot!
Our host provided great directions to the cottage...which is absolutely charming with a working fireplace and welcome treats! The property itself is just lovely, view of the ocean, very close to town you can walk or bike to the shops and restaurants. Perfect spot to relax and smell the salt air while you listen to the waves. Laurie is a great host and provides a great dog friendly stay...thanks Laurie
Pretty, quiet, restful
Enjoyed the Comfortable casual accommodations , my dog was able to roam around the grassy yard, easy walk into town, but quiet in the residential neighbor with pretty ocean views from the property and on nice short walks to beach and in the area.
Loved this cozy cottage
My husband, dog, and I spent three nights in this cozy, clean, and charming cottage. It's small and a bit worn, but we absolutely loved it. The location is fabulous--in a quiet area close to the water and within walking distance of a footpath towards town and Old Garden Beach. Laurie left a welcome basket with wine and a variety of snacks, and paid us a visit with her dog, Painter. If you are traveling with a dog, there's no place better to stay! We would love to stay here again.
Our home away from home cottage
My family of four had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Very comfortable and spacious. Love the view of the ocean. Walking distance to the pedestrian path to Old Garden beach. My 7yr old loved all games and outside toys. Thank you Laurie
We were women and 3 dogs traveling in New England
The cottage was small but clean and serviced it's purpose. Location is to die for. One quick mile walk to Bearskin Neck OR walk across the street for a beautiful ocean view. A quick walk down the lane takes you to a small beach great for looking for sea glass. I would stay here again.
Rockport is at the tip of CapeAnn. There are beautiful beaches, fishing, boating, kayaking. The shore line is a great place to walk and bike, take photos of the awesome scenery. There is a large artist community and a great summer music season series beginning in June. Rockport, though a small tourist and fishing village, has all the ammenities needed and is also within 10 miles of larger Gloucester and the rest of CapeAnn.
