Summer cottage located in quiet residential area across the street from the ocean. The property has its history as part of an old Inn still located right next door. The cottage is appointed with comfortable furniture, TV, a/c, fireplaces, all kitchen appliances. There is a nice yard surrounding the cottage, with lawn furniture, picnic tables, gas grill, outdoor games. There is a lovely fishing pond that skirts the back of property and bird watching galore. It is a wonderful area to walk and bike. There is an ocean front path to the nearby beach and a very scenic.15 minute walk to the center of town.

The cottages are awesome. They are pretty to look at, lovely grounds, lots of play/relaxation area, comfortable and fully equipped for a night or 2 months stay.
Fire places, proximity to ocean, quietness, view
My husband, dog, and I spent three nights in this cozy, clean, and charming cottage. It's small and a bit worn, but we absolutely loved it. The location is fabulous--in a quiet area close to the water and within walking distance of a footpath towards town and Old Garden Beach. Laurie left a welcome basket with wine and a variety of snacks, and paid us a visit with her dog, Painter. If you are traveling with a dog, there's no place better to stay! We would love to stay here again.
My family of four had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Very comfortable and spacious. Love the view of the ocean. Walking distance to the pedestrian path to Old Garden beach. My 7yr old loved all games and outside toys. Thank you Laurie
The cottage was small but clean and serviced it's purpose. Location is to die for. One quick mile walk to Bearskin Neck OR walk across the street for a beautiful ocean view. A quick walk down the lane takes you to a small beach great for looking for sea glass. I would stay here again.
The location is beautiful with a large shared outdoor space which our kids loved. The cabin has beds for 8, but with 6 we already found the cabin very cozy. Though we were there on a rainy weekend, perhaps if it were sunny and warm we would have been outside more. The cabin is quite rustic, but had everything we needed.
Our family of four had a wonderful time and stayed in one of the cottages that was just perfect for us. There were 2 kids beds in a loft that they enjoyed and 2 double beds. Bikes and laundry facilities for use on the premises and a fishing pond for the kids. The ocean was across the street and downtown Rockport within a few blocks. Our stay was very comfortable and we will definitely stay again! Thanks Laurie!
Rockport is at the tip of CapeAnn. There are beautiful beaches, fishing, boating, kayaking. The shore line is a great place to walk and bike, take photos of the awesome scenery. There is a large artist community and a great summer music season series beginning in June. Rockport, though a small tourist and fishing village, has all the ammenities needed and is also within 10 miles of larger Gloucester and the rest of CapeAnn.
