Greetings from Palm Island, Florida. Palm Island is one of the last bastions of the old Florida lifestyle. Quiet and laid-back, Palm Island is really three islands (Don Pedro, Knights and Palm) with a contiguous seven mile white sand beach on the west and harbors and inlets on the east.

Palm Island is separated from the mainland by Lemon Bay, but is served every 10 minutes by car ferry as well as water taxi and private craft. Traffic is minimal, requiring no lights or stop signs and one paved road. Although vehicles are used, most island transport is via golf cars.

Tranquility House is a four bedroom beach home completed in 2008. With approx. 3,500+ s.f. of living space under air and 7,000 s.f. total space, this property is ideal for gatherings of families, friends, weddings and special occasions.

Tranquility House sleeps 12-16 people. It has been designed for strength, beauty, energy efficiency, comfort and low maintenance.

Why Dave Andrews chose Florida South Central Gulf Coast

We built this property in 2008 to be an upscale beachfront fractional ownership property. Fractional Ownership did not develop, but the property became popular for weddings and vacation rentals. The property is now rented about 40 weeks annually. We return the property to arrival condition after each rental.

Jewel of Don Pedro Island

Do not hesitate to rent this spectacular property! We have over 20 years of vacation rental experience and this is our favorite Florida home. The open floor plan of the living space is very comfortable and welcoming. The ocean views are amazing from inside the home or while relaxing on one of the balconies. The home is generously appointed and meal prep did not leave us wanting for any gadgets. The photos cannot capture the real beauty and magnificence. The owners are extremely responsive, helpful, and yet not obtrusive. We wholeheartedly endorse Tranquility House.

The only way to vacation

First off this rental deserves more than 5 stars. Our vacation at the Tranquility House was simply perfect. Everything about the home was above and beyond in great and clean condition. The pictures of the home do not do it justice. When arrived at the home it was immaculate. Dave provided us with all information needed on day of arrival and where to find everything. Outside of groceries the home had everything we needed. From the Van to beach toys it was like arriving to your own home. We did a huge grocery shopping trip on day of arrival. There is a fridge that is large with great storage as well as a pantry. The furniture and accents in the home were of great quality. We honestly cannot wait to stay again. It is a gem we want to tell everyone about but also tell no one because we dont want our weeks to book up! Nothing better than going on vacation to a home that feels like you are at home. We are big cookers and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. If you are looking for a place to check out, relax, and enjoy time with family or friends this is the place for you, trust me you will not be disappointed!!!

Realtor beach bums

Just booked my trip for the annual week at the Tranquility house on the beach, with family and friends. This is our 8th Year staying at the Tranquility House. I should say mansion, it's beautiful and literally steps from the beach. Waking up to the waves every morning is one of my favorite parts. The house is beautifully decorated and looks like it was just built that's how immaculate the owners keep it. Yet it is comfortable and lived in. The two king bedroom suites are perfect, since I bring my son and Grandkids, who absolutely love the bunk bedroom. As well as my older granddaughter who loves her privacy in the queen bedroom. This is an awesome property, and I strongly recommend it. Property owners are great people. Can't wait until I get back to my home away from home!!

The privacy of Palm Island makes you feel like you're on a deserted beach! Looking forward to next year!

Beach Dream House

My family has been coming to the island since 1976 when my in-laws built a small home on the island and have rented many homes and condo's on the island over the years. The Tranquility House is the best house we have rented. The home is beautifully decorated, furnished and maintained with everything you need for a great beach stay. My son and grandsons enjoyed the spa, my wife and I the beautiful views from the both porches and both my wife and daughter-in-law the gourmet kitchen. Everyone enjoyed of course the beach which is just across the private walk off of the back porch. You cannot find a better vacation rental experience than the Tranquility House.

Standard Rentals run Sat-Sat. Short stays, weekend overlaps and holidays may incur higher rates.
For each 1-2 person addition, nightly rates increase by $70, $50 and $33 for Daily, Weekly and Monthly rentals respectively.
Rentals will only be made to families and single adults age 25 or over who must occupy the property.
Cancellations more than 90 days from arrival will receive a full refund less a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations 31-90 days prior to arrival will forfeit the reservation deposit. Cancellations less than 31 days from arrival will forfeit the rent.
