It's all about the dock and this one is perfect for a small or large group. Nice cove for swimming and all other water activities. The inside of the house is a bit on the dark side but there is a wonderful large screened in porch with a large table for meals, a swing chair, rocking chairs and couch. Nice grill and fire pit. We will be back!!

We loved our stay at the Bolton's cottage and were not disappointed that it was not directly on the big lake. This location was nestled just off the lake in a charming and quiet inlet.
Although this cottage was a few decades old, it was well maintained and the Dock/Pier/Sundeck and Bar addition was a wonderful way to catch a few rays, get my fish line wet and enjoy the quiet beauty of this quaint home in the trees.
The owners were easy and pleasant to deal with and were appreciative of our suggestions for maintinence.
One thing I forgot to mention to them, however, was the age and condition of the mattresses which my wife and I agreed needed to be replaced.
Although it was not a problem for us, since were were to old to use them anyway, was the fact that the paddle boat and large canoe are very heavy and there is no lift for them. If the kids had been with us, they would have been disappointed.
All in all we were happy we chose this nice place and if you bring or rent a boat, the dock is super. There is no way you could have a bad time here.
We do not hesitate to recommend it.

The house was immaculate, quiet, and lacked nothing for one's peaceful vacation. The owner was extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. View of the lake and the huge screened porch made the entire day (morning to night) worth every penny. The boathouse was a bonus and wonderful for that late afternoon happy hour. Recommend this highly for a relaxing getaway.
The experience for my wife and I for our 24th anniversary was just 'over the top'!
The Lake House was Clean, Neat, well laid out and What a View of the Lake. We enjoyed the Dock so much! Easy instructions for locating the home; Great entry code was easy; Just Simple and What a joy to work with the Bolton's that made it wonderful for us! Will We go back again? OH YES !!!
My family thoroughly enjoyed vacationing at this property. We found the kitchen to be clean with all the necessities to make our stay feel like home. Three bedrooms had double beds so couples need to get cozy. The bunk room had four single bunks.
Our favorite features were the spacious screened porch and the large dock with ample seating in and out of the sun. The dock also has a ceiling fan and a refrigerator. We took full advantage of the paddle boat and the canoe. The canoe is a sturdy plastic 3 seater model that we also have, its easy to use and relatively stable by canoe standards. The cove in front of the dock is deep and perfect for swimming and fishing.
The nearest restaurant, grocery, hardware store and marina are all 20-25 minutes away. Morningstar marinas made renting a boat about as easy as renting a car.
We would definitely recommend this property and will return again.
We spent a wonderful, relaxing, fun 3-day weekend at this property with our two grown kids and their kids. The listing was very accurate. The property was very clean and well-maintained. Kitchen was stocked with all appliances we could have possibly needed. The screened in back porch is huge and the kids loved playing out there when we weren't out at the awesome boat house/dock. We took two paddleboards and had a blast from age 8 up to 57 in the calm water right off the dock. Also spent much time just visiting at the boat house as the little ones played on the water. One day we cooked hot dogs on the gas grill for lunch and everyone came right up from the water and ate on the two picnic tables in the back yard. Grandpa bought cane poles for the younger ones and they each caught multiple fish. I've never seen such joy on their faces as when each one caught their first fish!
The owners were very helpful and great to work with. Answered my many questions about the lake and the area before we even had signed a contract. Very clear instructions on arrival and departure procedures.
Truly was one of the best rentals we have used to date. Many wonderful memories were made, and hopefully we will be able to return in the near future!
