Pure Pigeon Forge Perfection!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 6 with 4 kids (19, 14, 12, and 7) stayed over Labor Day holiday weekend and LOVED every minute of it. We have stayed in cabins on previous trips that were nice, but way overpriced, and we all agreed that this condo was better than all the cabins combined. Beautifully decorated, absolutely everything that you could possibly need, and location was right in the middle of everything without having to go up and down mountains to get there. Even with the condos packed, ours stayed nice and quiet, and we were never bothered by anyone. The only thing that I could even possibly complain about is the walk to the pool area is quite a ways away from the condo we stayed in, but the kids didn't mind, so really no complaint there either other than I couldn't check on them as much as I'd have liked when trying to prepare meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, and relaxing and playing board games, and enjoying each other's company in the condo was a big part of that. That's hard to get when you have a huge cabin with different floors and everyone always spread out doing different things. I would highly recommend this for a family of 6 or less, and hope to return next summer for a full week.

Condo was perfect!

  • 5 of 5

The condo was roomy, clean and exactly as described. Everything you would need is furnished. Love the floor plan and the glamour bath. As always Verlon was wonderful to work with in booking the condo and providing his cell phone for any questions that may come up during the stay.

Great place to stay!

Could not have been more perfect

  • 5 of 5

I really appreciated the VRBO reviews in deciding where to stay and this condo is everything the awesome reviews said it would be. Verlon is very quick to respond via text or email. The condo is probably one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. My kids loved the bunk beds! The location is just off the parkway and close to plenty of restaurants and a Wal-Mart. Everything we wanted to do was very close. Staying here was an excellent experience all the way around.

Though it doesn't have much to do with the condo I was disappointed in the pitiful Dunkin Donuts that I so looked forward to visiting on our trip because it was so close. The Trip Advisor reviews gave it only one out of five stars and I never event went. You could clearly see that the place wasn't well cared for because the grass, bushes and weeds around the building hadn't received attention for some time. I chose not to waste my time or money there when Krispy Kreme was not too far down the road.

I would not hesitate to stay here again and I can assure you if you stay you will not regret it! We can't wait to come back!

Beyond expectations!!! A+ INdeed!

  • 5 of 5

All I can say is wow, and thank you to Verlon!! From beginning to end, the process of renting this condo was so smooth. Verlon is very quick to respond to emails, and very easy to work with. Upon arrival, the condo was easy to get to, close to the elevator, and great luggage carts to help carry things up. Inside, well, I will say that I have never walked into a rental which was clearly even nicer than the photos show. It was very tastefully decorated, fully appointed and equipped in every way (hint: if you need something, just thoroughly look around- it's probably there. There were even extra towels, which I unfortunately didn't find until the last day after I had already washed towels twice. I'm sorry for using your water, Verlon! I should have known there would be extra - that's how perfectly equipped the place was.). Above all, I have never ever ever been in a place so immaculate. It was spotless. The condo has plenty of space in every living area, bed was comfy, couches were comfy, everything was in great working condition including electronics and such. There were plenty of instructions on how to use everything, as well as literature about the area.

The purpose of our trip was for me and my two kids to spend a good deal of time in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. After spending so many days immersed in wilderness, it was nice to be around some fun attractions and restaurants. I was not familiar with Pigeon Forge before arrival; for those who are not aware, Pigeon Forge could be comparable to I-Drive in Orlando, or Las Vegas for families. The city never sleeps. I really appreciated being so close to a 24 hour grocery store, and my kids liked having indoor attractions (super close to Wonderworks- fun!) on rainy days or just to come out of the woods where we spent the bulk of our week. One thing we didn't like at all, just to forewarn, is the traffic. It wasn't even high season, and the traffic is truly crazy pulling out of anywhere (including here) on the Parkway, and I live in the NYC metro area, so that's saying something. We just went with the flow- took a right to get out of the condo, even if we had to go left, and just u-turned down the road. Fortunately, although you will need to use the Parkway to get to GSMNP, you can at least skip the different but equally nightmarish traffic of Gatlinburg by taking the bypass. Just an FYI.

And still, even with the traffic, I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again! Thank you Verlon!

We had a seven night stay at a different condo at Mountain View. We were having such a great time that we decided to stay an additional night. The condo we were in was not available, so we stayed the last night in this condo. I cannot say enough about how great the owner is to work with. It was a very last minute rental and he responded to every one of my emails very promptly. Also, the rental process was so quick and easy. Verlon had us in the condo in a few minutes. The condo is very clean and well maintained and has a great view from the balcony. It is well supplied with paper products and everything you will need. The condo location is great and close to many restaurants and attractions. I definitely recommend staying at this condo. Great owners, great condo, great view, great location!
