About Greg Miller

I have lived on St. Thomas for over twenty years and have not found a place anywhere that I would rather live.

It is truly Americas Paradise.

Greg Miller purchased this condo in 2002

Why Greg Miller chose St. Thomas

Cowpet Bay has three bars, two restaurants, water sports activity center, a great pool and is very convenient to Redhook and the ferry to St. John.

What makes this condo unique

In addition to all the amenities there are cabs on site most of the time so a car is not needed. Want an upscale lunch or dinner? The Ritz Carlton is right next door and they welcome non-guests to their facilities.

Guestbook comments from the owner

You were very busy on your vacation. Thanks for your helpful comments, I am very glad to hear that you had a good time.

I hope the snow has melted and spring is on the way to your home.

Very nice 2 bedroom with extra sleeping space for larger families!

  • 4 of 5

Greg was lovely to work with, place was clean and tidy-well stocked. Access to beach and pool areas is unparalleled. Walking access to restaurant, beach bar, and the yacht club at Anchorage. We were visiting friends, so we spent little time in the condo, but it was perfect for our family!!

Owner's Response: Glad you had a nice time. Very sorry about the couple of rainy days. I am in the process of doing some remodeling and just added new appliances before you arrived. Hope everything worked out ok and you had a good time in-spite of the rain.

Quiet and clean!

  • 5 of 5

The condo was clean, quiet and just a few steps to the pool and beach. I think Greg is looking at updating a few items. We had not problems with anything in the unit. The only issue was our trip was too short.

Owner's Response: Hi very glad you had a nice time. Yes your vacation was short, but it rained for the next couple of days after you left. So your timing was good. Its not suppose to rain during the day in Paradise. Hope you get a chance to come back.

Had what we were looking for at a great price!

  • 4 of 5

We wanted more modest and casual vacation lodging than we had at the Ritz Carlton three years before. We found it at more than 1/2 the price and we saved more money having a kitchen and front load washer and dryer. The kitchen had what we needed to prepare breakfast and a few simple meals. The beach view from the screened deck was beautiful and the beach was small, clean and not busy. We never swam at that beach nor the pool because we were busy touring throughout the island, BVI and St. John. We booked two boat trips at the sport shack on the beach and both were reasonably priced and professional. We never used the fitness center or hot tub at the Elysian but saw there was access available. We ate at two of the beach restaurants and as usual found the service to be very nice.

Mr. Miller was friendly and helpful and even carried our trash away. He was very helpful with giving us logistical information during our stay.

I would defiantly recommend renting a car if you stay here. Red Hook is 5 minutes away for grocery shopping, restaurants, and ferry.

VERY COMFORTABLE!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first vacation without going with the hotel/resort. We were a little nervous about it but having the kitchen, screeend in porch, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was great. Greg is a wonderful host, the condo has everything you need. The pool was just at the bottom of the stairs with the beach just behind the pool . There is a beach side bar which was great but they close when they want to close. That was disappointing, we asked Dave the bartender if we would be open on new years eve and he told us he would be. We went down there at 9pm and it was closed up. Apparently the idea of a business actually having hours doesn't work at that place. There are two restaurants on the beach as well, one was more of a fine dining restaurant, the other was typical bar food. Red Hook was a 5 minute drive and the Ritz which has several restaurants is a 4 minute walk. The location was safe and convenient. The kitchen appliances were a little on the old side but they all worked. We'd recommend this to everyone.

Owner's Response: Glad you had a good time and I appreciate the review. Sorry the pool bar was not open later. I will check out the appliance, and up date for your visit next winter if you decide to come back. Have a great New Year.

Perfect Family Location

  • 5 of 5

Our kids LOVED this condo! It was on the pool and the beach with a beach café! The landscaping is great. The people were very pleasant. We found Sangrias to be hard to beat for the atmosphere, price, and food. The snorkeling was great to the left of the beach. We spent all our time here, and then went by car Ferry to St John for more snorkeling. St John is a pristine national park, so we spent most of our beach time there. We really could not find any place our kids would have enjoyed more than here, though. We could rest while the kids went around taking pictures and exploring. It was a very self contained property without all the commotion of a busy resort. Greg gives you TWO rooms , a kitchen, and a family room for a great price. Greg is helpful and a good communicator. He suggested for us to eat at Bluebeard's Castle which was great. We also ate at Bluewater (the Ritz) next door which was also great for about the same price as most nice restaurants. We would love to come back here!!

Cowpet Bay is one of several bays on the East End of St. Thomas, all which have great beaches, boating, restaurants, swimming and relaxing'. Several nearby marinas have world class deep sea fishing, diving, day sailing and boat rentals. A day on the water with a stop at the Soggy Dollar Bar on Josh Van Dyke is something you will always remember. We went out on 1/2 day trip with Double Header last winter and got a 6 foot sail fish on the south drop. The great shopping at Mongoose Junction, the wonderful beaches in the National Park and the hiking trails make St. John a must see on your vacation.

An Island Tour on both St. Thomas and St. John is a great way to get to know the islands.
