True Camp In Pa!

  • 5 of 5

Well, we feel privleged to be the first renters of this beautiful property! My daughters and I spent the weekend during a winter wonderland storm. The property itself was great. We spent a lot of time walking on the lake during the snow storm. The yard is spacious and slopes, so very conducive for sledding! The inside of the home is special. It gives a feeling of true comfort and family. The wood floors and beautiful doors let's you know it is truely cared for. Of course, the fireplace is fantastic! We kept it going the entire time we were there. Craig and Pam are very gracious people. I could tell that the property had deep meaning to them; being that it's been in Craig's family since the 20's. I enjoy lake front properties and have stayed at many in different parts of the US. In Pa, it's hard to find the type of property on a natural lake like Craig and Pam have. It's truely unique.

Delightful experience! The Inn Keepers went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant (the littlest Inn Keeper Geoffrey made our day!) Great family times! Thank you!

Beautiful Cozy Lakehouse

  • 5 of 5

My family had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful lakehouse. After a long drive, we were greeted with a warm fire and a cozy guest basket with everything we needed to make smores. Our ski tickets were set out on the kitchen table (this was prearrangeed with the owner) and handwarmers were thoughtfully placed in the basket too. This cozy house is filled with antiques which evokes the charm of the quintessential turn of the century lakehouse. There was snow and the lake was frozen, so we sled down the hill and onto the lake for hours.

We highly recommend this vacation home.

Enjoyed our stay

  • 5 of 5

Our family really enjoyed staying here. There aren't many 1920's facilities out there that would suit my picky family but this one fit the bill. Because the house has stayed in the family since construction, care has been taken to keep it "in period." It was a bit warmer than normal during our stay so air conditioning would have been nice at times. But overall, it wasn't much of a factor--the breeze was usually nice and cool. I could just imagine the family sitting around the radio in the 1920's. The reason for the high ratings is clear--the owners, Pam and Craig are great folks and they really care about their tenants and their facility. Highly recommended.

A Relaxing Retreat

  • 5 of 5

This was my 2nd stay at the Lake House and it was amazing! My girl friend and I arrived looking for some rest and relaxation and we found exactly that. The Lake House is beautiful and the antiques and quaint homey touches makes it perfect for a get-away. Pam and Craig have provided for anything you might need and if you forgot anything, they are only a phone call away. Pam left us great recommendations about things to do in the area. We did some antiquing and even discovered a wonderful family style restaurant, Bingham's, about 10 min. away. The Lake House is clean, comfortable and inviting. I didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!
