This beautiful Garden Suite is located in a heritage home in a friendly and quiet neighborhood in East Vancouver. The suite is attractively furnished and has everything you need for a comfortable home away from home.

It has a heated tile floor in the bathroom,your own security system with french doors opening up into a cool and peaceful garden patio, perfect for your morning coffee.

Located in a central and convenient location with easy access to all the amenities, you are within easy walking distance to the trendy Commercial Drive area with shops, restaurants galore, library, groceries, live music/entertainment, theaters, grocery and recreational facilities.

By car you are a 10 minute drive from the city center or 30 minutes until you are in the North Shore mountains for skiing, hiking, tubing, and mountain biking or the oceanside for kayaking, sailing and beach combing.

Amazing stay at the Garden Suite

This was our first visit to Vancouver, so we did not know what to expect at first. When we told Teri and Gary we were going to arrive late, they left the door open for us when we arrived. To our surprise, when we opened the fridge, we were greeted with everything necessary, and even more, to have an exceptional dinner, and even breakfast the next day. There was even a basket with fruits and chocolate, along with a bottle of wine, next to a folder with all the information we needed for our stay. This included where to shop, where to eat, and even pamphlets to guide us around the city. Teri and Gary were extremely thoughtful, and were ready to help us with anything at any time. The Garden Suite felt like home the moment we stepped in. Not to mention that it is in the perfect location for getting around to pretty much anywhere in the city. It is a 5 minute walk to a bus stop, and a 10 minute walk to the Sky Train, which is right next to a grocery store. It is also right next to Commercial Drive, which is a street full of great coffee shops, restaurants, and stores. It is even in a great neighborhood that is beautiful, quiet, and friendly. The Garden Suite had absolutely everything to accommodate us for out visit, and future lucky visitors to get themselves to an amazing place like this. We would strongly recommend anybody planning a trip to Vancouver, to strongly consider this Garden Suite to be your home while you are visiting.

Great Stay at the Garden Suite

This was our first stay at the Beautiful Garden Suite and will not be our last. The suite was exactly as described. It was very comfortable with every convenience in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood walking distance to anything you may need - restaurants, transportation, groceries parks and playgrounds and small, locally owned shops on Commercial Drive. I really appreciated the dishwasher in particular. Teri and Gary were so helpful and accommodating - from the fruit and wine waiting for us when we checked in to helpful information on the neighborhood. They were always available for questions. I highly recommend the Beautiful Garden Suite. Our daughter and family live within walking distance from the suite and we intend to make this our "home away from home" on a regular basis. Thank you Teri and Gary!

Nous recommandons cette location !!!

Nous avons loué cet appartement lorsque nous sommes venus installer notre fille à Vancouver. Nous avons eu le plaisir de nous retrouver dans un endroit calme, très propre, très bien décoré et très bien équipé. Nous nous sommes rapidement retrouvés comme chez nous d'autant que Teri et Gary ont su se montrer des hôtes particulièrement accueillants, chaleureux et prévenants. Nous avons l'intention de revenir sans l'ombre d'une hésitation pour cette fois approfondir la découverte de Vancouver et profiter du bon emplacement de cet appartement !

Second time even better than first.

This is the second time I rented from Teri and Gary in the past four years for two different sets of my older sisters visiting from Scotland. Teri and Gary couldn't have been easier to deal with. We've rented on VRBO about 10 times now and this has been the most hassle free experience. The location is perfect for Vancouver -short walk to Skytrain ( 7 minute train ride to downtown , 5 minute to stadiums and Chinatown). Commercial Drive is a brief stroll through a mature residential neighbourhood. Trout Lake with it's farmers market on Saturday is again only a short walk away.The Garden Suite is well equipped and has a quiet seating area. It's a fantastic place to spend time in in a fantastic city. Washer & dryer is very useful. I'd recommend this rental to anyone wanting to experience living in Vancouver.

Quiet, comfortable, and convenient

We couldn't have been more pleased with the Garden Suite. It was quiet, the bedrooms at opposite ends provided ample privacy, the bath was lovely. Teri and Gary greeted us to give a welcoming orientation with suggestions of nearby groceries and restaurants. Easy to park in front, easy drive or walk to Commercial Drive which was noted in a Vancouver guide as a number 1 walking street, and easy to reach our workshop in nearby Trout Lake park. The only suggestion I would make is to provide a DVD player. The rest was perfect! We hope to return.

Excellent location and wonderul owners

The owners, Teri and Gary, were so friendly, welcoming, and easy to work with that we felt like we had known them for a long time. The apartment itself is fairly small, but everything is in excellent condition and well stocked. Linens, soaps, detergents, and paper products were all amply provided. The washer and dryer were very convenient for our 2 week stay. We never had trouble finding parking right in front of the house. We had sole use of a small, yet pretty and peaceful side yard with a small table and chairs. Commercial Drive is 3-4 blocks away with its dozens of restaurants and markets. The SkyTrain station is not even a 10 minute walk away. There are 2 parks within 2 blocks of the unit. The neighborhood is very quiet, and consists of well maintained homes.
