Our condo has an awesome deck for entertaining overlooking the Yampa River. Other than one other unit in building (which is a 2 bedroom) none of the other units in the entire downtown area have this amenity. The competition rents condos where the deck is over Lincoln which is very loud and busy. We have received only one negative review in the last 5 years and generally get 5 star reviews. Platinum rated unit. It doesn't get any better and the price is at least 30% less than management company rates. No gimics like damage insurance or discounted lift tickets.

There is no better location to truly Experience Steamboat like a local (not just a tourist), then from this location!

Read the reviews on VRBO. This is not an old ski lodge but instead a new building with luxury furnishings overlooking the Yampa River. The pictures on the listing are a little old and don't include recent furniture updates.

Winter, Spring,Summer or Fall you can have it all! Waterside Village, a mixed use building, is conveniently located in downtown Steamboat Springs on Yampa Street. This beautiful, nearly new condo is situated directly across from the river and famous Howelsen Hill on the quite side of downtown.

The stunning new library is a 1 block away and a stroll through the park or swim in the Yampa river. Waterside Village Day Spa, where you can pamper yourself, is located in Waterside Village. Art galleries and local museums are a short walk away. The newly renovated Old Town Hot Spring pool and gym is about 6 blocks away. You can walk to the downtown movie theatre (or ride the FREE bus to the larger one). And of course there are fabulous restaurants at all price levels all within walking distance, including 2 next door.

During the summer you can watch folks raft, kayak, tube and fish the Yampa River from the deck, or walk 400 yards to the famous “C” hole and watch kayakers perform tricks. At low water the “C” hole is a wonderful place to sunbathe and swim (remember to practice good river ethics). Throw open the windows of the Master Bedroom and listen to the roar of the river at High Water. You can join the bike and walking path that runs along the river for miles without having to ride through traffic. If you are playing a baseball game at Howelsen Hill you can cross the bridge 2 blocks away and be at your game. The rodeo, Weekend Farmers Markets, many great Summer Festivals and free concerts are within walking distance.

In the winter you can view the Lighted Man during Winter Carnival or watch Olympic Ski Jumpers train on the newest jumps from the great room and deck. If you are here to ski the Free local bus is a short ½ block walk and a 15 minute ride to the slopes; faster then driving and parking yourself. One Stop Ski Shop is located in the same building, so picking up your rental skis is super convenient. When you are finished skiing and enjoying the mountain you can easily and safely enjoy downtown Steamboat with its live music, great food, fun shops and friendly, lively atmosphere.

Of course you can just hang out around the cozy fireplace and watch one of the four flat panel TV's, a DVD or play some games.

No need to worry about parking becuase we have a private garage! This is a fabulous location to explore all that Steamboat Springs has to offer without worrying about driving and parking. The local’s favorite Bamboo Market is even located downstairs if you need grocery items or a steaming cappuccino!

This is BEAUTIFUL condo, delightfully furnished with an eclectic, contemporary, warm feel. Highlights include:

• Over 1750 sq feet, 2 levels inside.

• High end finishes. Granite and walnut wood floors.

• The Main floor is an open living concept. Everyone can be part of the action!

• All of the furnishings are like new including the linens. Soaps are all included.

• Gourmet, well stocked kitchen has solid granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Basic spices, soap, paper towels and other helpful items are provided.

• Gas fireplace, TV, DVD player, books and games are located in the large living room with views of Howelsen Hill.

• All bedrooms located upstairs.

• Very Large Master Bedroom overlooks river. The attached master bath has a large Jacuzzi tub. King Bed.

• Large Secondary Bedroom with a Pillow top Queen Bed. The room is large enough for an air bed if you desire to sleep 9.

• 3rd Bedroom has Queen bed and a twin.

Downtown overlooking the Yampa river with unobstructed views. The location is truely the best and awesome for all seasons. Private garage and plenty of parking. Other than Waterside the competition is located on quiet streets overlooking the river. Don't get fooled.

The owners and staff try their best to meet the high expectations of visitors. The unit is awesome and little things like the private garage, best soaps, lush beds, extra cable channels, high quality television make a difference.

The location in downtown Steamboat is unmatched espcially with the sound of the rocks rolling down the Yampa river.

Don't be fooled by the low rate when compared to other units. We pass on the savings that is usually paid to management companies.

Luxury Accommodations and a Fantastic Location

We spent 12 nights in the condo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have been coming to Steamboat Springs annually since 2002 and were in town to visit friends who live in Steamboat Springs and Stagecoach. We prefer to visit during "mud season" and the late summer when most of the tourist have gone home. We had our dog (Welsh terrier) traveling with us and received advance approval for him to stay with us.

The location is fantastic. It is in walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants, as well as being adjacent to the walking trail along the Yampa River. If you have a pet, you are only one block from a park where you can exercise your pet. The location is quiet. Access to the location is very convenient and the private parking garage is a bonus for storage of you vehicle and bikes. Instructions for accessing the location were easy to follow. This is an excellent location if you are a cyclist because of easy access to the trails and roads.

The property has three large bedrooms, a family room, kitchen and laundry room. While we only had a total of four guests in our party, it was obvious that 6-8 people would comfortably fit in the property. The bedrooms are upstairs with the family room, kitchen and laundry room downstairs. Major appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and televisions) were in good condition and operated properly. There is also a deck with seating for eight that overlooks Yampa Street and the Yampa River. We used the propane BBQ on the deck to cook several meals with outstanding results.

The location was clean and well maintained. A large supply of consumables (i.e., dishwasher soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc.) was provided. There was also a generous supply of towels.

We primarily used email to communicate with the owners, and they were quick to respond to any questions we had.

We highly recommend the property for anyone looking for a quiet, convenient, luxury location in downtown Steamboat Springs.

Beautiful river view

Our large family and two corgis were here for a softball tournament, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The condo is very clean and modern with a beautiful kitchen and new appliances. The wood floors are lovely and practical. The best feature is the view of the river from the patio as well as the master bedroom - it's right across the road, and you can hear it from the patio as well as inside the condo when the windows are open. The owner was very helpful and friendly. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the park is just steps away - perfect for walking the dogs as well as for the children to play. All in all it was a very relaxing and pleasant stay, we would definitely come again.

Perfect for a Girls' Trip!

Every year, 7 of my girl friends and I enjoy a weekend in the mountains. This year we choose Steamboat and the accommodations couldn't have been more perfect. We enjoyed hanging out on the patio overlooking the Yampa, cooking in the open kitchen, walking downtown to the shops, restaurants, and Old Town Hot Springs. The place was very welcoming and there was plenty of room for all of us. Highly recommended for anyone planning a girls' weekend!

Great condo

This condo is one of the best we have rented via vrbo, it is everything the owner describes. Great location, comfortable beds, beautiful interior, easy to find upon arrival, and easy to work with professional owner/manager. We would definitely rent it again when in steamboat.

Unbelievable property!

My husband and I spent Christmas in this condo with our 3 daughters. The unit was both spacious and cozy with all creature comforts including awesome views of the Yampa river and Howelsen Hill ski area. Very centrally located- 1 min walk to free bus and less than 5 min to all downtown shopping and restaurants. Includes a 1 car garage for vehicle or gear for outdoor activities. Beautiful wood floors and modern bathrooms. Owners were responsive and easy to work with. The experience exceeded all of our expectations!
