About Jeanette Dutton
Robert Ullmann for over a decade was creating upscale residential neighborhoods in the urban environment of Atlanta. About five years ago he started talking about changing gears and started to make his first trips to the Western North Carolina mountains. What he figured out fairly quickly was that he had begun to fall in love with the natural beauty and restorative lifestyle of Western North Carolina.
Jeanette Dutton purchased this Cabin in 2007
Why Jeanette Dutton chose Franklin
Robert began to explore the possibilities of creating full-amenity, environmentally sensitive mountain communities planned and built in harmony with their natural surroundings. “There’s a reason people are drawn to these mountains,” says Robert Ullmann, who built a new home for his family in Wildflower. “The wrong kind of development can destroy that; the right kind can help to preserve it. This is not just about higher elevations. It’s also about higher standards.”
What makes this Cabin unique
Wildflower has 4 private gated entrances, private paved roads, underground utilities, hiking trails and common areas, and additional amenities tailored to its specific size, topography and personality. Robert built the Wildflower Cabin's of Cabin Cove for the enjoyment of our guests and to explore all that Western North Carolina has to offer. The community is just a few minutes from excellent highways, with area attractions and top-quality health services nearby. And the Wildflower Community offers unbroken, high-elevation views of the national parks and forests that form the very heart of Western North Carolina.

Amazing Cabin, perfect for Families
Very nicely appointed cabin, tucked away in a great little area. Great for families, and for kids to get out and play in the woods.. Couple little streams nearby to get into the nature. Good views, great hot tub, and overall great accommodations for a family or friends to get together.. Mgmt company did a great job with communications, and setting expectations. Would absolutely return.
Beautiful Mountain Cabin

Mountain Luxury Stay
We Soo enjoyed our stay at your gorgeous cabin. If I ever get to build a cabin it will be one just like this one. I could not have asked for anything better!!!
Amazing place
The place is amazing, the cabin excellent and huge! Jeanette was really helpful on every question. We definitely will come back, everything went perfect.
Fantastic! Great family Vacation.
I have nothing negative to say about our experience here. Jeanette is very responsive to emails & texts and the directions provided were well detailed. The location is absolutely perfect and inside a gated location. The cabin itself is wonderfully furnished; the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with dishes in case we wanted to cook. The pictures on VRBO accurately reflect the cabin & its beauty. This has definitely been the best vrbo rental we have stayed in and if we come back to Franklin, NC would love to rent this cabin again.
Very nice and very remote
The house is beautiful and comfortable. However, it is incredibly remote. I would suggest arriving well before nightfall. The road to and from the property is rather dangerous. One side is a ditch and the other side is a cliff. Plus, it’s a two way road but barely room for one car. After arriving the first night, we made sure we were back at he house before dark for the remainder of our stay. . It’s a 10-15 minute drive to the main road. We truly loved our time but wish the owner had been more up front about how remote the cabins are and how easy it is to get lost. GPS (apple maps, google maps, or wayz) cannot even locate the property so we spent a lot of time in the car, lost.
Map
The Great Smoky Mountains.. Home to breathtaking national parks and thriving artistic communities, it is no surprise that this area is one of the most visited vacation destinations in the country.
And nestled right in the middle, between the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Nantahala National Forest, and the quaint mountain town of Franklin…To the west, the contiguous half-million acres of the Nantahala National Forest are home to hiking trails, mountain streams and waterfalls, the whitewater adventures of the Nantahala, Pigeon, and Ocoee Rivers, and literally hundreds of species of wildlife and flowers. To the north, the mile-high peaks of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park roll into the distance. And just five minutes away is the town of Franklin.
Enjoy the leisurely pace with a stroll down Main Street to shop for pottery and antiques. Or you can catch a performance from the Western North Carolina Jazz Society, and tour the galleries and artistic communities of nearby Sylva, and Dillsboro. These towns boast charm and character that draws locals and tourists alike. Here you’ll discover a unique mix of folk art and sophisticated galleries nestled in between fine dining restaurants and comforting mom and pop diners. Asheville, Bryson City, Cherokee, and Waynesville are also only a half an hour away.
Franklin is situated along major highways US 23/441 and US 64, with easy access to major interstates I-40, I-26 and I-85. Atlanta is just 127 miles to the south, Knoxville 110 miles to the north and Asheville is 65 miles to the east.
Western North Carolina offers everything you could be looking for, with an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life that is hard to find.
