Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
My family has enjoyed one day so far at your beautiful cabin. We want to thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your lovely home and for adding all the extra touches to make guests feel so welcome. You have clearly spent a lot of time thinking about making the cabin so well stocked and comfy. We are having a grand time in this peaceful setting and feel very fortunate to be here. We just love it and we are taking extra good care of your home. Thanks again!!
Beautiful well maintained house 5 minutes drive from Tahoe Donner Downhill ski area, highly recommended!
The reason I chose that title was due to the amount of snow packed around the property so it was not easy to be spotted but once there it was a joy to be in. It snowed so much that we could see white all around us. The property is really nice and the location is impeccable, literally within minutes to 2 great ski locations. I'm sure I'll be back with higher expectations of the place.
This was a great location to base ourselves for skiing (only 25 minutes from Squaw Valley) and having use of both garages was a big plus, thank you. If you have teen or younger children (our party was adults only) and they do not mind sharing a room, the third bedroom has two bunk beds. If you are going for skiing we'd recommend a 4x4 as the neighborhood roads are not plowed for minor accumulation, at least they were not while we were there; however, once you get out onto the main roads this is less of an issue.
We very much enjoyed our stay and Joe, one of the property managers, was very responsive to the broken window from snow accumulation. Some creature comforts like Kleenex in each bedroom would have been nice. For convenience to Reno and Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows this place is hard to beat. Also to have use of the garage was a major plus, thank you.
Home was beautiful, Tracie very helpful when we couldn't get the master lock open (just FYI, it might get frozen, use the shovel handle to push the button down!). Scenery was amazing! Had fun just playing in the snow in the driveway :)
