PAM purchased this chalet in 1992

Fall allows many places to hike or bike as well as canoe and boat and enjoy colors surrounding us being in the middle of the Nicolet Forest.
Zaugg's Resort was awesome! The pictures on the web-site don't do justice for the home itself. The home was beautiful and immaculate. One would have to see it for themselves to appreciate its beauty. Chuck and Pam have made a beautiful resort on the pristine lake. T
There were plenty of activities for all ages. The kids loved playing on the beach and swimming in the lake. Tennis and basketball were fun activities for the whole family. It was nice to be able to take the boat out on the lake while the kids enjoyed the paddle boat. We had great dinners with cookouts on the grill and when the sun went down, we enjoyed the fire pit and made smores.
The only regret we had was we didn't have more time. Thank you Chuck and Pam for providing excellent service and openning your home to us, to enjoy. We are definately looking forword to our next stay. I believe we will be able to make our next stay even better with fishing, exploring, and more great campfires. On a side note, I was able to witness the beautiful full moon come up over the tree line, over the lake. I hope the picture is as nice as the way I seen it.
This trip, to Zaugg's Resort, was a great fit for my family and we recommend Zaugg's resort to everyone wanting a great Northwoods experience. We recommend the beauty, the lake, and the endless activities for everyone to enjoy!
We had another wonderful stay. Grandkids were sad to leave. Wish we had more time on check out day. Hard to get 16 people breakfast, straighten the chalet and get out in time. I feel like last year we had till noon and the people next to us this year indicated they had till noon. Otherwise no complaints, we really like Zaugg's Resort
This was our second time staying at Zauggs. Last year, my husband and I came up in October for the colors. We were very impressed with the chalet. We talked so much about it, that my husband's brother asked us to book a summer vacation with them. We did and had another great time. The property is beautiful. You feel very secluded. There is a good amount of green space before the beach. We used this for family games. The kids also got a lot of use out of the paddle boards and canoes. The beach is well maintained and the water is crystal clear. If you are looking for a place in Eagle River for some family fun and don't want to be on top of others, this is the place to stay. Also, there are a number of great restaurants within five miles of the resort. There are also a lot of hiking and biking trails. We will probably be back next summer.
Had a great week with grown kids & grandkids. The buildings are beautiful, really well maintained with all the conveniences. We had great views of the lake and a very private setting with a large beach we shared with one other cabin. Sandy lake bottom for a good 100' +. Paddle boards, canoes, fishing boat & motor were provided for each cabin with no additional cost! The lake is quiet with good fishing and minimal weeds. Close to Eagle River and many good restaurants. The owners are terrific and there to help if needed. We have tried several other rental homes over the years and found this to be our favorite. Will be back next year!
Our family loves coming to this vacation home each summer. So much to do - swimming, skiing, fishing, tennis, walks, biking, basketball. The home is clean and comfortable and easily accommodates our large group of 19.
The beach and lake are beautiful. A large yard around the home is great for outdoor yard games also.
Our family researched many many locations in the "Great North Woods" to hold our (now grown) family vacation . . . relive the years when the kids were young when we enjoyed the up north experience away from the stresses of daily life. Zauggs have hit the nail on the head. No worries here! Fishing boat WITH MOTOR, life jackets, paddle boards, canoes, peddle boats . . . something for everyone. Not often you find all of that on a crystal clear lake with sandy frontage for the little ones. The property includes tennis and basketball courts and lots of information for hiking and biking trails. The home was spacious and clean with lots of sleeping options. Outdoor deck had an abundance of tables and chairs with a lovely view of the lake and LOTS of green space for sailing Frisbees and footballs. There is also a large flat screen TV and wifi in the chalet for those who need to stay connected . . . but why would you want to? We especially enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night--all wood provided! I enjoyed reading the history of the resort property and all the hard work done to make it what it is today. What more can I say? Pam and Chuck have it figured out and are always available if you need something. They are a lovely couple who you can tell have invested heart and soul into bringing families together. Wish we could plan to do this yearly, but grown children have busy lives! Thank you Pam and Chuck! We loved it!! We will be back one day.
