Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort is one of the last campgrounds left in Florida that is located directly on the ocean. Enjoy the feel and uniqueness of old Florida combined with all the modern amenities of your own park model cabin.
Site 63 has a large deck where you can relax and enjoy the ocean breeze and observe all the activities of campers and RV'ers alike. Make your choice of walking through the park and down one of the several walkways to the beach or cool off in the huge pool located close by. Our newest park addition is a second swimming pool that is heated and a separate hot tub for those staying with us in cooler weather.
Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort is located on St. Augustine Beach and is located minutes away from historical downtown St. Augustine. Call Steve today for more details.
I was born in New Haven CT and my wife in Cincinnati OH. We met in St. Augustine while working at the Conch House Marina Resort in 1990. We married in St. Augustine and have two children. Our family now lives in Jacksonville, 45 minutes north of Bryn Mawr and although our boys are getting older we all still enjoy our weekends at Bryn Mawr.
Stephen Kelly purchased this cabin in 2003
I spent most of my childhood in St. Augustine and I have been coming to Bryn Mawr for years. I like old Florida style living. Love the fact that you can park the vehicle right in front of the porch and walk right in. No elevators and hallways like most condos have. The people who stay in the community are always friendly and it's a great place for kids of all ages. So much to do here!
Unit 63 is located near most of the parks amenities. Our visitors love the large deck in front.
Loved, loved, loved, this rental! My husband, teenage son, and daschund stayed here 3 nights. We had friends staying in the campground with teenagers also. The boys liked that they could have a place to hang out without parents or little kids around. They played cards and board games that were available in the rental and had TV and Wi-Fi.....they were in heaven. Needless to say, I give this property 5 STARS!! Thank you owner Steve for sharing your place
My son and I stayed here for a week we had plenty of space we sat for hours on the deck and cooked on the gas grill the water pressure in shower was amazing lots of drawers huge closet space air conditioner worked great furniture was comfy I was sad when it was time to leave already planning a trip for next year and must add Steve the owner so nice and explained everything so well there are twenty reviews on this home that are all wonderful wanted to add to the list.
Another good place with VRBO. This is an older park model in a nice campground. lots to do in the campground. The unit is very well equipped with even a big grill on the big front porch. It was very clean and looks well maintained. We will stay again when we go back to ST A's. The owner was very helpful
The Kelly's park model is great for a spring break week on the beach. The two of us and our son had a great time and the location is excellent! A short 2 minute walk across the campground and you're on the sand. The full kitchen gets the job done for vacation needs; who cooks on vacation anyway?! :) The deck in front is perfect for relaxing in the morning with coffee or evenings with a good book. It is definitely max 4 people, (there's not room to have anyone else - I wouldn't even recommend having anyone younger than perhaps a 3YO, you won't have room for the kid equipment) so it suited the 3 of us great. The Kelly's are great to work with: reliable and quick to respond, and the campground itself has awesome amenities. Our 7 YO son loved the two pools and easy beach access, plus there is a playground, pooch park, tennis, and shuffleboard. We learned that St. Augustine is nice (and flat, obviously) for bike riding, especially with a young child, and there are many places around to indulge in other activities, like stand up paddle boarding (be aware of the tide schedule on the causeway - yikes! Learned this the hard way!) and surfing. Great places to eat (I recommend Salt Life in St. Aug Beach), and fun kid activities nearby (like the Black Raven Pirate Ship adventure and plenty of mini-golf), but I do NOT recommend trying to take A1A into downtown historic St. Augustine. That route has a draw bridge and just jams up the traffic; take FL312 to US1 instead. :) Friends of ours have a travel trailer so it was convenient that we could stay on the same property as them but not have to be in each other's faces the whole time. :)
The week stay I had at the Kelly's property was a home away from home...This little property has a comfort and peacefulness that reminds one that the owners care for this as if it was their own private vacation home...The Kelly's were very helpful with all arraignments and questions...I was able to bring my dog and had one of the best vacations I have had in years...I would surly recommend this property to any family it has the size to accommodate two adults and a child.
We stayed in the Kelly's Park Model while visiting St Augustine with our son and his young family. My patents spent many of their winters here after their retirement and my son and I visited them every year. It's a fabulous campground and perfect for all ages. Our accommodations were just what we hoped for: clean and comfortable. I definitely will go back.
