This charming cabin is nestled in Teton Valley, a short 6 miles North of Driggs, Idaho.
Whether you are looking for an affordable family vacation or a couple’s retreat this cozy cabin is the perfect answer.
With 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, living room, large loft, laundry room, large deck and private outdoor hot tub you are sure to feel at home. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee while gazing at the Teton Range from the large windows on the front of the cabin.
Visiting the cabin in the summer months can be such a treat, with plenty of activities in the area you are sure to stay busy! Enjoy a scenic hike or an adventurous mountain bike ride on over 200 miles of trails located just minutes from the cabin. Journey approximately 20 minutes to Grand Targhee Resort where they offer a scenic chair lift ride to the summit of Fred’s Mountain, kid’s summer camps, picturesque horseback rides, a refreshing swimming pool, or reach new heights on the euro-bungee trapeze and climbing tower. Grand Targhee Resort also maintains an award winning disc golf course and many trails for all riding levels at their mountain bike park. But the fun doesn’t stop there, Teton Valley also holds multiple golf courses designed by pro golfers as well as over 120 miles of blue ribbon fly fishing on 3 rivers including, Henry’s Fork, South Fork and the Teton River. After a day of summer fun, fire up the barbeque at the cabin and partake in a family friendly competition of horseshoe or wind down at the end of the day with a campfire, don’t forget the s’mores fixin’s!
During the winter months, hit the slopes of Grand Targhee Resort. Located in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, Grand Targhee’s abundance of light powder snow (more than 500 inches annually) and lack of lift lines creates an uncrowded skier and snowboarder paradise. If downhill skiing is not what you desire, head to Teton Canyon where you can enjoy free groomed trails for classic or skate skiing. The Activity Center at Grand Targhee Resort also offers an abundance of winter activities to choose from including snowshoeing, snowmobiling, snow biking, sleigh ride dinners and backcountry adventures. When returning to the cabin after a long day of outdoor adventure, warm up with hot cocoa by the gas fireplace or enjoy the warmth of the outdoor hot tub while soaking in the beauty of the Teton Valley.
Travel just under an hour to Jackson, WY, where the Wild West truly lives on! Stroll through town to visit the numerous outdoor stores, art galleries and shops, take in the National Museum of Wildlife Art across the street from the National Elk Refuge or “head for the hills” to explore Teton Village.
Last but certainly not least, visit the mountains, valleys, lakes and rivers of Grand Teton National Park. This national forest is home to abundant forests, wildflowers and wildlife. The park also has a rich cultural history with old homesteads and cattle ranches to explore and photograph. Walk on a trail built by the Civilian Conservation Corps or one that American Indians or fur trappers might have used in the 1820s. Ride a bike or paddle a canoe. Only an hour drive from the cabin and there is something for everyone.

We are the Dreisbach Family. My husband and I bought this cabin in 2000. At that time the cabin did not have a yard or a basement and over the years we added some things and improved the property. In 2002 we were married on top of Grand Targhee overlooking the Tetons and held our reception at our cabin. In 2004 we moved to Big Sky, Montana where we own a construction company and try and keep up with our three children. We love making regular trips back to our cabin to enjoy beautiful Teton Valley and all that it offers.

There are many reasons my family chose this property. The Teton Valley and surrounding area is tranquil and serene with spectacular views and many opportunities for adventure. The cabin is in close proximity to Driggs, Idaho, if you need to run into town. It is also not far from Grand Targhee Resort, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park and Jackson, WY. We hope that you enjoy this cabin as much as our family does!
Nothing compares to the unobstructed views of the Tetons. It's a view you could never get sick of!
Bluebird days, amazing Teton views, lots of soaking in the hot tub, fun skiing with friends, cross country skiing and pizza deliveries from the Italian place in Driggs. So much fun, thanks for everything!
Every touch designed for comfort, we felt wonderfully at home and relaxed--to the point that on our last day we decided to forego another trip up into the mountains and just savor a delicious day of lounging in the cabin. It was delightful. The steps to the bedrooms in the basement are a tad steep, so those with some difficulty negotiating stairs might find them problematic, but even our old bones still found the cabin well worth it. Hope to return someday!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Great view of the Tetons from the large covered porch. Great base for exploring the area. All you could possibly need for cooking meals in the kitchen and large gas grill outside. All beds were comfortable and all bedrooms had fans. Temp dropped to 60's at night but air movement always makes things more comfortable. Driggs is a few miles away and had a nice grocery store and a good selection of restraurants.
This is our 2nd time staying here. We love the quiet side of the Tetons! It is a short beautiful drive into Jackson and the National Park. We hiked To Darby Wind cave, downhill biked Targhee and still need to tackle Table Rock, so we will be back!! We hiked to few lakes in the Tetons. The hot tub is wonderful after a long day! Thank you for sharing your vacation home!
This home was perfect for our families. Our youngest was 15 months and our oldest was 70 years and we all enjoyed the house and yard. It was perfect for day trips north and south. We ate every meal on the porch. We usually followed the evening meal with a camp fire. I am sure my whole family would recommend the cabin to others.
We stayed here with two families of four and could not have been more pleased! So grateful for the separate spaces upstairs and downstairs. Loved the hot tub, porch and yard. Was a great location to travel both to Yellowstone and the Tetons yet still get away from the craziness. Highly recommend!!!
great field across the street to cross country ski, perfect for the kiddos!
