Peter purchased this house in 2003
It was a half completed shell when we bought it. I finished the house for 4 years during the summer while my wife took the kids to beautiful Suissevale beach.
It is the perfect place to bring a family in the summer. The beach is on a peninsula with the only access being over a foot bridge. It is a safe and fun place to bring the kids. Minutes away from all the hiking trails at Castle in the Clouds. Tennis and playgrounds in the summer. Sledding hill and access to snowmobile trails in the winter.
We loved staying at Peter's beautiful house in Moultonbourough. It worked perfectly for our large group (around 8 people) for a wedding weekend. It was in an ideal location, within minutes of our wedding venue - Castle in the Clouds. The rooms were all very comfortable, great ameneties, a lovely backyard space and fire pit where we had a couple of cozy fires in the evenings! The kitchen was full stocked and had everything we needed. Fun activities including a great library, and air hockey table in the basement! Only complaint our group had was the girls were missing a hair drier for the weekend...
A perfect fall retreat for a New England getaway. Would definitely recommend it and we will be back!
This is our second time staying at this house and it was just as enjoyable as the first time! The house was fully prepared with towels, linens, pots and pans and it felt just like home. The screened in porch and wrap around deck are always a plus. Definitely going to stay here again.
The house was even nicer than we expected. It was spacious, extremely clean and tidy, and VERY well appointed. The kitchen had every pot, pan and appliance for cooking meals and making desserts. We all took advantage of the outdoor shower, my sister said she could now scratch that off of her bucket list! We were nestled in the woods but a short car ride to a lovely beach, one of the nicest on Lake Winnipesaukee. The house has a lovely open plan, but the bedrooms are off of a hallway that can be closed off by a door. Lots of windows and ceiling fans in every room, we never used the central air conditioning because of the great cross ventilation. The basement is a great place for the kids, complete with a large air hockey table! I could go on regaling this property, but I'll end with saying that Peter was great, and made himself available for any help we might need, luckily our trip went off without a hitch!
Great property and vacation! Very clean and accommodated 10 comfortably... I would stay again!!
Peter, Thanks for another great vacation. I don't have your Email for questions.
The house was very nice area. About 15 to 20 minutes to your local Town Area. The house is new so you do not have to worry about the old smell or old furniture. Had a lot to offer inside as far as kitchen and bath supplies. Great place I would do it again.
Our house is located in the waterfront community of Suissevale. The community is spread over several square miles and includes tennis courts, a beautiful beach, marina and club house. There are miles of well maintained dirt roads for walking or biking. The house is 4 miles from the center of Moultonborough and the famous 250 year old Country Store.
