I didn't know quite what to expect from my stay on a Tuscan farm. Many of the things you see in movies or read in books seem a little stretched from the truth. But I could not say that about Tenuta San Carlo. Every day that I stayed there, I saw and learned new things that wowed me--from the huge pine forests and the fields teeming with native wildlife to the simply amazing food grown and prepared by the kind and generous people who live on the farm. The property is well-maintained and looked after, and both the owner and farm manager were very attentive to my needs. I would definitely recommend Tenuta San Carlo to those who want to get away from the hectic city life to enjoy the freedom of exploring this beautiful place.
