Thanks Michelle, everything was great. We never used the air conditioner we spoke about because it didn't get too hot while we were there.
Thanks again and we'll see you next year. I think my son and his family may be interested in renting the house one weekend in September with his brother in law and his wife so I will let you know when they make a decision!
We had a terrific time at Barefoot Manor. We stayed for a 3 day weekend - while we attended a family wedding over Columbus day weekend. Excellent location - right off main street - and a comfortable house - with a large living room and wrap around couch - and a great deck and picnic table to sit around and have some big breakfasts - and enjoy the sun. An easy walk to Dunkin donuts for coffee in the morning - and one of the spots we ate dinner at good spot about 3/4 of a mile away - Portside Tavern. It is a great house for a couple families - we had two families - both with adult children and there were plenty of beds for everyone (we used the house and the studio) . Worked out great. We would recommend it.
I visited this property with my extended family and found the house to be very well situated for large groups of people. Plenty of space to spread out and relax...We would consider staying here again. The only issue we ran into was the poor quality of the sleeper sofas in the first floor bedroom. They really need to be replaced and are in really bad shape if you are counting on someone actually sleeping on them. Otherwise, its a great place to stay.
The Barefoot Manner is well loved and taken care of by its owner. The responsiveness and flexibility of the owner made planning our stay a breeze and you can tell right away the love of the home and desire for guests to have a memorable experience.
The home is well stocked with everything you need and will allow you to relax and unwind without much effort. Location in Hyannis is fantastic and we often waked to main street to enjoy ice cream and local restaurants and shops.
An enjoyable experience overall and we hope to visit again.
The home was perfect for our "girls trip". It was very comfortable with a casual coastal decor that was very welcoming. The location was perfect and we were pleased with the recommendations left in the information booklet. We will certainly consider staying there again. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Hyannis is a bustling ocean side community with a long and fascinating New England history. It has everything to offer, the timeless appeal of salt air breezes, sun, sand and surf. Enjoy fine or family dining, kids activities, beautiful beaches, sunsets over the bay, entertainment, boating, fishing, sailing and a thriving arts community. There is also great shopping with boutiques, art galleries, spas, salons, all within walking distance. A short drive away is a great shopping mall (with an indoor carousel for those occasional rainy days), and every convenience you can imagine. Leave the car, and walk to the harbor ferry to take a day trip to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard, Drive to Plymouth Plantation or Provincetown! There are no shortage of activities to keep you as active, or as relaxed and as contemplative as you would like to be. Truly something for everyone!
Other Activities: Close to the Kennedy Compound, as well as ferries to Islands, Melody Tent
