Wonderful Property.

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Our friends rented the other cabin that is about 50 yards away so we got to enjoy their covered porch on the rainy days. The kids (age 5,4 and 2) played in the creek from Morning till Night. The only reason the I didn't give 5 stars was our cabin had a strange smell when we first arrived a bit like a a public restroom and a wet dog. However we opened all the windows and turned on the fireplace and lit a candle and flushed the toilet a few times (because we think it had something to do with the cleaner that was used) and it aired out quickly. Besides this, the cabin was very clean. The husbands really enjoyed fishing in the creek. We loved seeing the King Fisher birds fly along the creek and the bats drinking from it at night and my husband saw a 4 foot otter and said they had a moment :) Great place to connect with nature and about 30 minutes from the Boone Earthfare for grocery's. The fridge in the house is very small but there is a full sized one under the house where the washer and dryer are. We would love to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us.

Very Nice Set-Up

  • 4 of 5

This is a nice cabin at a good price. Though it is only a one room cabin, it is actually very spacious, and it has a nice hot tub, so that's definitely a plus. The only things that I didn't enjoy (not at the fault of the cabin owners) were 1. the sulfur water (which they do warn about beforehand), and 2. the unpaved, incredibly swervy one-laned roads leading to the cabin. Overall, a good deal.

Wonderful getaway cabin

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I went up for the weekend and had a great experience. The serenity and beauty of staying in this cabin, on the creek, was above and beyond what we expected. We have nothing negative to say about our stay. The cabin is situated just far enough away but if you must go, Boone is a short 25 minute ride back up the mountain on a scenic road.

I would recommend this to anyone who needs to getaway and like us, is tired of staying in Inns and hotels. For the same price you can stay here. Our cabin is one of 3 on the property but they are situated so you still feel secluded.

We enjoyed every day that we spent in the cabin. The cabin has everything you should need for a 2 day stay or a week. We do plan to return for another stay. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

A Wonderful Relaxing Cabin!!!

  • 5 of 5

The pictures just do not do this cabin justice at all! When we pulled up we were immediatley taken in by the beautiful scenery that surrounded us. The log cabin itself was very spacious even though it was all just one room! The furnishings were ideal and the hot tub out on the deck was awesome! There is a fire pit and picnic table as well as chairs to pull down by the creek in the back yard and dip your toes into it! Our granddaughter dipped way more than her toes! She had a BLAST! We all did! The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed. I noticed in one of the reviews that someone had said the water was bad and stunk....they must have been in the wrong cabin because this one was perfect! AND CLEAN AS A WHISTLE!!!! Thanks so much for sharing this home with us. We will be back soon!!!!
