Wow! What a beautiful home in a private setting surrounded by lush landscaping and opening up to the 13 Tee box on the Waikoloa Village Golf Course. From the moment you enter this 2,500 square foot home, the beauty of the outdoors is visible. The home simply flows from the entrance hallway, to the kitchen, dining and living room areas out onto a large covered lanai that overlooks the golf course with an accompanying view of Hualalai Mountain. Barbecue or enjoy a refershment on the lanai while you watch and critique the golfers teeing off.
Common living area and all bedrooms are equipped with large and efficient fans. Unique to this home is the large office/work area, with internet connection (Wi-Fi), that is open to the living room and large screen TV.
Waikoloa Association affiliation provides free access to swimming and tennis and discounted rates for golf.
Within less than a 5 minute drive is a large and complete grocery store, banking facilities, beauty shop and restaurant. Within an additional 10 minutes are the King Shops, Queens Shops and Mauna Lani shops that offer extensive shopping and over 20 restaurants.
The home's central location provides efficient access to the entire island. Kona is only 35 minutes away. Beaches are within 12-15 minutes. However, once you enter the home you may never want to leave its warmth and beauty.
The owner (who also resides in Oregon) is from Hawaii. Though growing up on Oahu, he found the 'Big Island' (Hawaii) to be his favorite island- far away from the madening crowds and comprised of a wide range of topographical features providing numerous opportunites for outdoor enjoyment.

I have been coming to this island since childhood; love the beaches, scuba and playing golf on a beautiful course at affordable rates. The community is friendly with a retail center to accomodate one's need within walking distance.
Right from the doorstep, one can take a daily run or walk on a flat course or hilly. You choose. Watching and critiquing the golfers is also always fun from the lanai followed with a nice evening barbeque.
We really enjoyed staying at this wonderful home on the Waikoloa Golf Resort. We enjoy walking and for us it was walking distance to the clubhouse, tennis courts, market and a couple of nice restaurants. However, a car is required to visit the beach and many other attractions found on the Big Island. The home is beautifully appointed and can easily accommodate a large family or two couples. Our stay was for the month of August, which was a little warm & humid (there is no A/C). The sunsets from the patio are gorgeous and the evenings usually cooled down nicely from the trade-winds. We recommend this home and would definitely consider a return trip!
This home exceeded our expectations in all regards--it was quiet, clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed to make our visit to the Big Island memorable. Our flight arrived late in the evening, but the house lights were on for us and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The fruit basket waiting for us in the kitchen was an unexpected bonus! We had the pleasure of meeting the caretakers while we were there--they are keeping the house in tip-top shape, and answered a few questions we had about the location of nearby shops. We will be recommending this home to our friends and hope to stay here again sometime in the future!
This house was a wonderful getaway on the golf course. We loved how spacious and well kept the place was, with a Hawaiian feel throughout. It was within close proximity to everything we needed, such as the village market, gas station, and within driving distance to some breath-taking beaches. One of the Big Island’s best beaches, Hapuna Beach, was a 20 minute drive from the house, and about the same distance the opposite way to A Bay Beach that accompanied Kings and Queens Shops and Lava Lava beach club. This was our first time to the Big Island, and we found that everything we needed was already in the home, from beach towels to tourist brochures and everything in between. We were a family of 4 staying in Waikoloa, and we found this house to be the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. It was everything that was depicted in the description and reviews and more! The owners were one phone call away and always quick to return emails. We would recommend this home to anyone wanting a relaxing, quiet vacation on the Big Island. – Higham family, Vancouver, B.C.
I cannot imagine how things could be better. Early on prior to the trip, communication with the owner was helpful and always quick responses to our questions. This home is magnificent, very comfortable, super quiet location, clean, comfortable and just can't say enough. Sleeping with windows open and the cool breezes was most enjoyable. The Village Market is one minute away and we delighted picking up breakfast and bakery items each morning to bring back and enjoy on the veranda.....a very nice convenience. Time went by way too fast!!! The close by free public beach is the best....wonderful clean and beautiful beach. Hope we can make a return visit. Kona is very handy for restaurants that we prefer...even OutBack Steak House is there if/when one feels the need for a more mainland style menu. Our thanks to the fine folks for making their home available.
This house has everything you could possibly need and the location is perfect! Hapuna Beach is 15 minutes away, Hilo and the North Coast are easy drives as is Waimea. I highly recommend this property, sadly we leave today but we will be back and definitely will stay here again! Very peaceful and relaxing...love watching the wild turkeys with my morning coffee!
My husband and I got married on 6/29/13 and we were lucky enough to have some of our guests stay in this beautiful home. It is truly one of the nicest rental properties that I have ever been in and the communication was great with the owner and the manager. If you are looking for a great home on the Big Island, you will not be dissapointed! The beauty of the home, the location, and the amenities are simply amazing. We hope to stay in this vacation rental again soon!
