Haven in the city center

Close to a quiet side street Apartment is an ideal retreat to let the city bustle behind can. Nevertheless, one is in few minutes in the inner city center - on foot in about 30 minutes - by tram in about 15 minutes. Likewise, there is a large supermarket, a bakery, a tobacconist, a drugstore nearby. Even on Sundays you do not need to give up your fresh bread. The central location also allows you to put in a little break and then zwischendruch strengthened again to begin your exploration. The apartment was completely renovated 3 years ago and is very fully inserted report. With great attention to detail and with all the utensils that need to be a sacrifice anything. Per Lift it comes in. 3 Floor. from the entrance hall goes with in a large living room, where there is also the comfortable double sun is with private slatted. Also a great addition box for your personal travel utensils. The large table invites you to Dine, the generous living area led to a cozy movie night. In the library you can find both private travel information, as well as special literature, DVDs and CDs from our own production of the landlord.

Wi-Fi is available naturally.

The separate toilet is accessible from transition from, as was the bathroom, with large shower and a washing-drying column.

In the kitchen, you can comfortably enjoy your breakfast. Numerous e-devices are available for you: espresso machine, filter coffee machine, toaster, microwave, kettle, blender, a freezer / refrigerator combination, dishwasher. The inventory is designed for up to 6 people and also allows you to cook in detail.

The very spacious bedroom goes out into the quiet backyard. The cabinet has a large capacity and your luggage will also find place.

Since we actually spend itself entirely our vacations in apartments, we have these experiences also be incorporated into the planning and equipment.

Great location, clean well equipped apartment, friendly hosts.

We stayed for a month, from end of December 2016 to end of January 2017. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. Kitchen was excellent--all the appliances and kitchenware required to cook as if we were in our own home. The dishwasher added to the convenience. Bathroom facilities included both a washer and dryer, essentials for longer stays. Linens, towels were plentiful. Serviceable television and satellite channels (including BBC and CNN ) and the wifi was reliable and fast. Hosts also provide a nice selection of maps/guides to plan your days.

Building was clean and well maintained and at the end of a dead end street was relatively calm and quiet throughout our stay. Three sets of stairs kept us in shape but elevator was available.

Neighbourhood was great, the apartment location on Hafengasse allowed for quick access to two major streets--Rennweg to the west and Landstrasser Haupstrasse to the east--both a block or two away each way from the apartment. At Renwegg the Strassebahn (tram) 71 was convenient for heading north into the Ring area of Vienna, or conversely heading south could get you to the Wiener Zentralfriedhof (the huge cemetery featured in the Third Man film). The Hauptstrasse to the east, basically the high street for the 3rd district, has the 74A bus north bound to get you successively to the Rochusgasse U-Bahn station, or the Wien Mitte U-Bahn both on the U3 line. The 3rd district adjoins the Ring so walking to the major sites including Opera, Musikverein etc was not difficult for those who enjoy exploring a city on foot. A tip for those keen to use public transport--in Vienna always clean, efficient, safe, and extensive-invest in a monthly pass for stays longer than a week or two, it is really a bargain.

Plentiful groceries-Billa, Spar or Merkur high end and Hofer, Penny lower end cover the spectrum all along the Haupstrasse. There is also the organic grocery chain BioMarkt on the high street. The usual Viennese suspects for non-grocery essentials BIPA, DM and Mueller are also well represented on that street. Restaurants abound in the area, with a heavy presence of Italian restos. And as for bakeries and pastry shops, again the usual Vienna suspects Strock, Anker, Der Mann, along with the quintessential pink themed Aida are all nearby on the Hauptstrasse and the superlative Oberlaa just around the corner from the Wien Mitte U-Bahn stop. We highly recommend the apartment and the hosts!

Beautiful apartment and very comfortable!

I stayed in this apartment for two weeks and I was impressed about how comfortable this apartment is. It has lots of storage space for luggage and clothes. The kitchen is fully equipped and very well organized. It has a good size washer and dryer, which they are very difficult to find in apartments in Europe in general. It is only a couple block from the tram 71 and the U3. I was able to be in downtown Vienna in 8 minutes, only 4 stops from the Opera and Karlplatz. In addition, the owner of the apartment is very nice and accommodating. I will definitely stay in this apartment again when I comeback to Vienna. I absolutely recommend this apartment for future guests, you will not regret it!!

Gemütliche Wohnung in guter Lage

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, es gibt alles, was man braucht und die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zum Flughafen, zur Altstadt, zum Schloß Schönbrunn und zum Prater sind sehr gut. Außerdem gibt es einen Supermarkt um die Ecke.
