Beautiful mountain home located on Prospect Mountain. Lots of privacy, yet close enough you can walk to town. Living room features a moss rock, wood burning fireplace with HD/LCD/DVD above, King bedroom, bath with log shelving and accents, fully equipped kitchen with gas range and granite countertops. Large 12x26 deck with Hot Tub and HUGE Continental Divide views.

The walkout lower level has log covered entry, queen bedroom, bath, family room with a queen and a twin sofa sleeper. Patio doors to a 12x26 deck with patio furniture. Wildlife frequents the home, and the private setting makes for a relaxing get away. Fabulous views from both inside and outside the home, hot tub, and area surrounding the home. Setting has lots of trees, large outcropping of rocks and boulders, for a true stay in the mountains, but not too far from fun, shopping, restaurants, hiking, and most town and park activities.

Mountain Views is located on an in-town private road. Beautiful, private location. AWD is recommended for winter guests.

About Linda

We have been rental home owners for over 40 years and are now enjoying renting our vacation homes in Estes Park. We look forward to meeting many of our guests, and making your stay extra special by taking home great memories of both your time in the mountains, and your home away from home!

Linda purchased this house in 2008

Why Linda chose Estes Park

The beauty of the mountains, the small town atmosphere, wonderful weather (most of the time)! We think it's PERFECT!

What makes this house unique

The location is so unique. Close to everything-yet so nice and private. You can walk into town in a couple of minutes and come back home to the mountain setting amidst the boulders, outcroppings, and large pines. And the views..............simply awesome. From the Mummy Range to the north, and then the Continental Divide sweeping the south and west. Wildlife frequents the property, which is a real delight. Hot tub is especially relaxing while looking at the mountains.

Absolutely loved the place. Everything was even better than we ever expected, furniture, beds, etc. GLORIOUS VIEW of Rocky Mountain National Park right from the deck and enjoyed the local wildlife. Very private, clean and comfortable. House was nicely stocked with toiletries, etc. Would definitely come back. Very friendly owner.

Idyllic Spot in Estes Park

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful find! We loved everything about our stay at Mountain Views. Quiet location with fabulous views from the decks. Extremely well-appointed and perfectly maintained home with every convenience at our fingertips. The hot tub was very much appreciated after a long day of hiking, and the super-duper gas grill was much used. Although we did not have much time for viewing, the flat screen tv upstairs was a bonus, and the wi-fi connection also was excellent. Linda and Bob were outstanding hosts and have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. Would definitely recommend to friends and relatives.

Great views, love the hottub

  • 4 of 5

Overall we had a good time. We loved the hottub and views. We went horseback riding and it was great!! However, I wouldnt recommend Estes Park in the winter time, unfortunetly there wasn't much to do and alot of the locals say its a great place to come in the summer, especailly since one of the main roads is closed in the winter so it was very far from other places and activities!

Owner's Response: Heather, I’m happy you enjoyed the hot tub and Views. I was so very disappointed in your review as I felt that you were rating your stay, and not the actual home, location, and amenities. We put up a Christmas tree and decorate to make it extra special for December stays and have no control over what you do while staying. Wildlife viewing, snowshoeing, relaxing by the fire, and Rocky Mountsin National Park are usually things most winter guests enjoy and look forward to. Maybe come back in the summertime for more activities That might interest you more. If you leave a review for your next stay in a vacation home please review the home first and a few comments on activities if you want to.

Perfect mountain home with amazing views of the mountains!

  • 5 of 5

Had s wonderful time at Mountain Views. The home is comfortable, clean, & well supplied with an assortment of staples like soap, spices, etc. Loved the hot tub & enjoyed the fireplace. Would recommend to anyone looking for quiet & comfort. Close to Ricky Mtn National Park. The town has a nice variety of shops.

Just What We Needed!

  • 5 of 5

This location was more than we could have imagined and just perfect for a quiet weekend in the mountains. Fireplace, hot tub, views and a comfy, warm place to come back to after a busy day in Rocky Mountain National Park or elk and Christmas light sighting! Everything was better than we planned and easier than we thought. Thank you to Linda for letting us stay! We would love to come back someday.

Beautiful, quiet and convenient location

  • 5 of 5

Cabin was spacious and well appointed with all of the amenities needed. It was very clean and everything was in good working order. Really a beautiful cabin that we would definitely stay in again. We brought our teenage son along and he had his own room and private living room on the lower level, which made it especially nice, when he needed a little space from parents. LOL The owner was very responsive to my emails, even on Thanksgiving Day (our arrival day). The view from inside the cabin and on the deck was breathtaking. Its very close to town, yet just high enough outside of town to allow for privacy and a most spectacular view of the mountains.

Warm and Cozy Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Our family truly enjoyed our time in Estes Park! The cabin allowed us to have our privacy and be close to town. The home had everything we needed from plenty of firewood to pots and pans in the kitchen. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
