About The Owner

Family of 4, currently lives in Boulder, CO.

The Owner purchased this house in 2002

Why The Owner chose Summit County Colorado

I liked the location of the house a lot. The lot has a beautiful backyard full of aspens that add privacy and beauty to the scenery. Close to many hiking trail heads and cross country trail heads. Also close to the towns of Dillon and Silverthrone, while still having a rural feel. I love the house because its a great place for our family to go spend quality time together while enjoying the great outdoors that Colorado has to offer.

great place

  • 4 of 5

Great place, nice back deck with the hot tub. Plenty of space in the common areas too. Only complaint while we were there was that the wifi didn't work so I burned through a lot of data streaming video and music. Highly recommended!

Lovely House

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here for 4 nights with 12 friends, and we had a blast! The house is cozy and has everything you need. It's in a quiet neighborhood kind of nestled a little ways up a mountain. Perfect location. We had a lot of people, but it didn't feel too cramped (especially for the cost). The hot tub was our favorite part! We skied at Copper Mt., and it's an easy drive getting there. The owner is very responsive and great to work with. The only minor issue we had was fitting the cars in the driveway/garage. We had 3 cars and it worked. But there's no street parking. So we had to move the cars around a few times when someone needed to leave. Try not to bring more than 3 cars. But overall, it was amazing. We'd love to stay here again!

Excellent trip in the Rockies

  • 5 of 5

Loved the location due to its proximity to I-70. Also, close enough to multiple ski resorts which allows you to choose which ones you want to check out. Also, this town was very charming close to plenty of small town stores/restaurants to check out as well as major food chains and stores you would want close by for any of your needs. This place is clearly setup to fit a lot of people and it was clean and easy to just get there and enjoy. Owner was helpful and friendly, deposit given back very quickly. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Great Spot

  • 5 of 5

Place was perfect. Neat, Clean, Cozy, and easy to get to. Patricia was very helpful at all times. 8 Person hot tub was super relaxing. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for 11. Only thing to beware of is parking is a littttle tight, but not at all a real problem. I will for sure be back next time I need a place to stay with friends!

Superb home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

We have rented this property a number of times and have always found it clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. As others have noted, the owner is a delightful and very accommodating host. On several occasions work commitments have necessitated a change in our scheduled arrival. in every case she has been most gracious and worked with us to rearrange our stay. Everything you would need to make your stay enjoyable is provided including a well stocked kitchen, a variety of consumables such as foil, plastic bags, napkins, etc., a gas grill and wonderful hot tub, a complete entertainment center, a great collection of videos, towels and linens galore, and a storehouse of information regarding local attractions, restaurants, and activities. Oh, let's not forget the complementary bottle of wine that greets guests on their arrival.

Long story short, this is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Summit county. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
